Also legit the only game in my steam lib that constantly refuses to work with my Xbox controller - even when steam and every other game works perfectly fine with it.

Actually don't get me wrong, this can be a fun game if you're able to ignore the obnoxious community and are lucky enough to not get screwed over by the weird spaghetti code.
In the end i urge you not to get rocket league in 2020. There are a lot of better ways to find enjoyment and challenge yourself. Please, don't do this game to yourself.

Still not recommending this spaghetti code. Tried to play for a while on my sisters PC now that i'm on family vacation over christmas and the game stutters so hard it gets unplayable. Even on lowest graphics it struggles to hit 60fps. It does, but not consistently at all. To compare, this PC can run stuff like Witcher 3 and Borderlands 3 fluently, still a years old game like Rocket League won't. And searching for it on google brings up that a lot of people have those weird fps stutters while other games run just fine. After an hour of trying to bugfix this mess i'm done again.
Yet another EDIT: Fixed it by swapping into window mode and then back to fullscreen. Every. Time. I. Start. The. Game. Code in 2020. LUL.
