Honest to god feels like a spiritual successor to Half Life: Opposing Force, Episode 2, and Black Mesa, all at the same time, while being a free mod. If you have half life 2, stop reading this, and download this mod immediately (And also play the first mod, it's amazing in it's own right and will make this experience so much better)

The mod has bold new mechanics and features such as breaching systems, new enemies, new weapons, A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CURB STOMP BUTTON, new animations for old weapons (even better than Mmod I'm not even kidding), and new locations, while also greatly improving npc squad behavior, enemy and friendly AI across the board, and visual effects.

On top of the gameplay being one of the best half life experiences I've played, this mod made me feel a greater connection to the characters than any other half life game I've ever played. I was genuinely intrigued during ever character interaction and cutscene, instead of trying to jump on the npc's heads or breaking something while waiting for them to be over.

In short;

The amazing set pieces and combat segments made me ♥♥♥

The new and redesigned HL2 weapons made me ♥♥♥

The amazing, lore accurate story made me ♥♥♥

The AR3 made me ♥♥♥

Play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod they brought back the Gonome this is not a drill download it now

This game is a fairly decent armored combat game, but by no means competes with the full PC version, and the full PC version does not compete with warthunder. The only advantages that blitz has over anything is it's mobile port (which I play all the time) and it's ability to be run on a potato.

You ever watched one of those fast paced chaotic speedruns like half life in 20:41?
This is literally experiencing that but even better

I decied to leave a review once I found out that this game's reviews are mixed.

I understand there are M A N Y flaws, and issues regarding the playerbase, *cough* hackers *cough* china numba 1 *cough*, but I have had an amazing experience playing this game.
The combat is fun, the game provides a feeling of reward for planning, improving and having good skill. Squads are a blast to play with friends, and make the game almost endlessly replayable.

I'm not gonna list cons here because, well, you should be able to find plenty of them in other reviews.

An amazing single player game that will entertain anyone for hours

Pros and stuff:

-Soundtrack is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ metal

-Truely no two playthroughs are the same, although retaining some familiarity in level layout, items/enemies are random

-Extremely difficult, there's always room to get better at the game

-lots of things to unlock such as characters, items and artifacts, that give set a goal to achieve besides beating the game

One thing to note about this game is coop. Online coop is relatively obsolete, as you must get a game through a group or external service/website. The only exception to this is local coop.
