The 11 hours I played were more than sufficient to complete this game, and I doubt it has significant replay value now. If either of those put you off, stop reading.

This is a brilliant game. A truly excellent game. It is not a very good RPG, not a good action game, and it is not really a strategy game. This is a Puzzle Game.

What I mean by that is that the core gameplay loop is dealing with known information, and experimenting to form a solution. Every single combat is, in at least some way, solveable; it can be "beaten" in an optimal path. The game's engine makes that path fun to engage with and the mechanic is somewhat unique.

I've seen people complaining "every battle is easy if you just rewind time in the right way" and that's like complaining that Rubix Cubes are easy if you put all the colours on the same side. The loop is rewarding. At the end, the ability to make foes attack each other and to heal up after combat make the puzzle a little less difficult and a little less rewarding to complete *well* but it's otherwise a really solid experience.

I got this game from Humble Choice, but if I saw the sequel I would buy it full price.

This game is a a video game adaptation of a board game. When I say "adaptation" I actually just mean "This is a board game played online".

It's a very good board game, one of my favourites, and the transition from cardboard to pixels changes almost nothing. On release, some common variants were missing and there were several bugs, so I held off, but I got the go-ahead from another board gamer that it was now playable. And it is oh-so playable.

If you like the base board game and want to play online, then look no further. Want to know about the board game? There are better places online, like boardgame geek, but the TLDR is:
Play cards, accrue resources, terraform mars, win games.

There are a lot (200+) of unique project cards, and each player gets a choice of two different corporations from a decent set. The strategy develops quickly, and the answer to "which of these two cards is better" is hardly ever simple. I would recommend this game.

Killing fictional Nazis has never been more socially acceptable. This is an amazing game, its only downside being its relative brevity. Then again, it has more feels, plot, and easter eggs than I can shake a Nazi-killing hatchet at,

Zeboyd write some of the best RPGs around. It may not have the graphics of some other games (I mean, it's 8-bit) but it has more character than most full RPGs and it's 5% of the price.
