Its really not similar to the original game at all aside from the setting and not nearly as many missions, but the missions it does have are pretty fun even if the game is short. As a free game its absolutely worth playing with friends since its pretty damn hard at times. The game has issues that will probably be fixed soon but the team that made the game did a great job with the atmosphere and immersion. It was a UE5 game that didn't run horribly which is a first for me. All in all its a pretty good black hawk down game but not really a delta force game when it comes to the originals. Very detailed weaponry too which was nice. Voice acting could have been better.

the gameplay is really fun but get rid of this super invasive anti cheat and make a mode without cringe ass operators and the review will be positive

Now that Frontline 59 is on steam I can give the game a good review. Probably the best arcade plane shooter ever made. Really gives AC a run for its money. The visuals and soundtrack are god tier and the gameplay is unbeatable. This game is worth it at full price.

Takes 10 minutes to launch the game every time with horrible frame rate and stutters. Stalker fans will love this game (it doesn't work on launch and will take years to be fixed). 60 dollars for UE nostalgia bait slop yeah I'll take a refund

Fun as hell with cool maps and cool weapon selection. Too bad its a dead game. At least it has bots.

the launcher is so incredibly broken the game is in an unplayable state thanks to origin and EA

All new weapon content you get is pay walled in a game where the whole thing is that its live service. "Oh but its technically free you just have to play a lot to unlock it". It will take you hundreds of hours to unlock all the "free" content they give you and when you are using the same old ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you've been using for the past 100 hours the game gets old real quick. Its actually crazy how good this game could be if the devs weren't incompetent and greedy. If you want to sink your time in to this game and do the same ♥♥♥♥ over and over again and slow grind everything you might like it. That or if you have money to throw around to buy super credits.
