Even in it's VERY incomplete state in early access (crafting, player kingdom both have not been fully implemented for instance) Bannerlord feels like a more fleshed out, fully realised Mount and Blade experience over it's predecessors (and yes, even the warband mods). A variety of tiny details desperately needed to the Warband formula have been added in to make the game world feel much more alive, though it still is not perfect of course. From the way people move in combat, or sway as they idle, to the expansion in game world economy and NPC life the Bannerlord world takes the flat, boring world of the original Mount and Blade & Warband with it's robotic, soulless NPCs and turns it into an experience which feels much more organic.

I certainly asked for this.
