I thought maybe I'd grown out of roller coasters and theme parks and there was a part of me that was very sad about that. I remember having the original RCT1 demo on PC (it was a timed demo) and cranking up my research budget so I could build the water slide ride just before the time expired. I dumped hours into RCT1 and 2. When Planet Coaster came out, I thought I would really enjoy it, but I've found it to be tedious and overall boring and hard to get into.

Upon getting this game for a few dollars and playing it again I've realized that the game is just better, despite its aged graphics. And look at all my park attendees with their little umbrellas! So cute.

The CS:GO community is a nice balance between CoD-level toxicity and 2002 era racism. It's a good idea to mute most of the player base. Don't worry, they don't make the proper callouts anyway.

The game itself is fun as long as your bullets go where they are supposed to go and actually hit their targets when they get there, which is about 70% of the time.

Though I am not generally a fan of Battle Royale games I have played quite a few of them. This one feels more like an arcade-style shooter than games like PUBG, and kind of reminds me of a modern-day UT2004 or Quake 3 with all of the BR elements included. The movement is very addicting once you get used to it. The class abilities are not hard to learn and generally feel like they add to the game but don't distract. It is a free2play model so you will have to spend a little money or put some time in to unlock the legends you want, but as someone who's put 300 hours into this game I can safely say I've only spent maybe 30 dollars total in the last couple years.

Though I do recommend this game overall, I will say that you should management expectations appropriately. Anyone who has bothered to play Apex knows that the skill ceiling is quite high and getting to a point where you can feel successful in the game will take some real time and talent. Don't expect to perform as well as your favorite streamer after a couple weeks of hot-drops.

I will say that even after putting a lot of hours into games like CS:GO and DotA 2, this community is fairly poor and when people do bother to use mics they are either leaving them open so I can hear their crappy tiktok videos, screaming at me that I'm trash after pushing a 3 person team alone, or telling me to end my life. It is rare to find yourself on a team with generally easy-going people that want to chat a bit while you run around the map.

It's fun. I remember a long time ago a friend steered me away from it, saying I wouldn't like it. Said you had to pause the game often later in order to make decisions. I actually really like that a series of small decisions carry so much weight. Time management and efficiency play a key role in making sure you are prepared when temps drop or research completes. I haven't tested the other scenarios yet, so this is just my impression of the first 22 days of the regular scenario.

Dis game good, and I don't even like card games.

Some aspects of old DOOM, some aspects of old Quake, some metal-music-fueled run-and-gun rampage aspects of new DOOM - but still bringing in its own unique take. Dusk is a lot of fun!

Fun game. Very spoopy. Will make you feel feelings you don't want to feel. Don't play if you're prone to breaking your hardware.
