I'm only 50 hours into it and will probably need another 100 to see everything but this is truly one of the most impressive RPGs I've ever seen. Henry is probably the best and most likable open world protagonist since CJ Johnson and the writing is beyond what the genre ever really sees (outside of GTA / RDR / Mass Effect).

The world is beautiful and it's so completely refreshing for the main character to NOT be the Chosen One / One from the Emperor's Dreams / Savior of Humanity. You're just a guy trying to make sense of a complicated situation. That's it. That's the whole set up. That's the engine and then they give you all the keys to watch it play out in incredible ways. The way you remember locations you've visited on the map during conversations with NPCs. When you steal a set of armor from someone, then walk back through the town an in-game week later for that same character to say "HEY THATS MY ARMOR" and come after your ass. The way NPCs will change the locks to their houses and chests if they noticed that someone pried their way in. So many clever and logical systems in place.

No magic of any kind, it's just you and a sword and shield and your speech skills. And an unending amount of bloody garments as you slaughter bandits between towns. I can't wait to finish this game and anyone that misses being truly impressed by a new video game needs to get their hands on this and shove it directly into their eyes. An absolute stunner.

A solid addition to any VR library and a nice improvement over the original Vetrix which was already a pretty awesome title. This one is a lot more colorful but builds very nicely on the basic rules laid out in the original game. The developer clearly has a lot of talent and this game deserves many more positive reviews.

I can just imagine the pitch meeting for this game.

developer: thank you for meeting with me to discuss funding my studio's next project, we have a lot of great ideas and think we would make a great team with you as our pub...

publisher: no matter what happens, we want to make sure this game features shirtless men with muscles suspended by wires to the ceiling of a gymnasium

developer: ..... go on.

publisher: we also want to make sure that the only method to remove said musclemen is by throwing something resembling a combination of a basketball and a volleyball directly at them, knocking them loose and causing them to fall to the ground.

developer: (rips up outline of his studio's earlier mentioned next project) What if it was an infinite supply of basketvolleyballs?

publisher: YES. Also there will be special balls that explode when you throw them but we can get into that later. For now, just remember that when you knock one of the shirtless men back to the ground, they will ragdoll all the way to the floor, and only at the last second will they spring back to life while an announcer yells "JUSTICE!"

developer: *writes that down on scraps of the torn outline of his studio's currently cancelled and already forgotten game that is no longer in pre-production*

publisher: ...I just need a name for it.

developer: How about "A game that saves the muscles caught in the ceiling of the gymnasium"?

publisher: *weeps openly with joy while drawing up the contract*

The fact that Clone Drone in the Danger Zone got a VR-only sequel is an absolute gift. Slicing through the voxel-based destruction is something I didn't know my life was missing and it plays like a dream on a Q3 via VD. This one came out of nowhere and I absolutely adore it. This genuinely has no business being this good and is a steal at full price.

The fact the developer followed up The Longing with a game like this is impressive enough on its own. I haven't put much time in it but I've seen enough to know that this is going to be the best $12.74 I've ever spent on a roguelike. It's genuinely funny and I can't wait to see where this one goes. A playable cartoon roguelike is not something I knew I needed but here we are.

An excellent rogue-survivor with a very cool art style and is a solid deal at $5. In a sea of survivor-type games, I at least appreciate the fact that it has a unique look and a slapping soundtrack. This one and Slime 3k (and of course deep rock galactic: survivor) have been my favorites recently and anyone looking at this should pick it up.

It's a rare type of horror when sadness is more prevalent than scares. I can also now fully understand why it isn't called 'Good Parenting'.

It's only about 30 minutes long and by the time the credits roll, it pairs well with staring at an empty wall while slowly blinking.

The real Mr Red Face was the angry dads we made along the way.

Looks and runs beautifully on my rig with a 3080 + 5800x3D + Quest 3 running Ultra settings over VD. As a long time Metro fan, it's something of a dream to see something like this hit the market and if nothing else I'm glad the VR market is showing enough health that this is a viable option.

One thing that VR is generally missing is a top-tier stealth game and this one scratches that itch and the setting is perfect for it as well. Will try to add more details later but just wanted to do what I could to fend off the Mixed rating because this one is running perfectly and looks fantastic.

A very chill game with beautiful music and a heavenly atmosphere, despite the grim setting itself. Turn based combat is a nice touch that doesn't require much strategy but is a novel approach since this game wouldn't work as well as a straight up 3rd person platformer, so goofy / jumpy violence was never going to work here and what they've chosen instead works well.

These developers have a real gift for delivering atmosphere, which isn't too surprising considering they were able to pull it off in a 2D golf game (Golf Club Wasteland is a total classic in my book).

Perfect game to zone out to on the Deck.

I think the most impressive part of this game is how the emotional bits feel grounded and tense even in a scenario where the player is stepping through an actual nightmare. That's not an easy needle to thread and TCR pulled it off in this game better than they ever have in any of their other titles (although Everyone's Gone to the Rapture comes pretty close). The voice acting is among the best I've ever heard, there's something very empathetic about it that grounds the whole game. Every time Caz drops a Jesus! or a ♥♥♥♥'s sake!! , I felt genuinely bad for the guy.

A well paced horror jam session with no capacity for sunshine or optimism, just like all the true horror greats.
