The main feature of this game is really engaging, challenging boss fights. There's a good amount of combat options with blocking, parrying, skill cancelling, magic, light and heavy attacks, focus mode/finisher, etc. Getting to know a boss's pattern and knowing when to parry or skill dodge or just press the attack with a skill cancel is very satisfying. If you want a serious challenge, play on God Slayer difficulty and try to S rank the bosses. A few of the end game bosses took me several hours apiece to accomplish that. If you don't want that much challenge you can play on a lower difficulty.

Shaping up to be one of the best roguelikes I've ever played. Developer works on it actively and is very communicative with his playerbase, responding to bug reports quickly and with a great deal of transparency. Gameplay is engaging and the game is challenging, though not the hardest I've played. As a long time Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup (greater)player, I give this game my seal of approval.
