If you're looking at Hades, you've probably already seen more about it than my review can cover.
Long & short of it: its fun, if frustrating at times.
Still haven't finished the story, only gotten up to a few heat with a couple of weapons, still have lots to do in the game, despite the time I've already thrown into it.
Its hard at times, almost laughably easy at others (partially depends on how your build turns out each run) and even when it's unforgiving it's still a good time.

Truly, a walking simulator unlike any other.

I'm still waiting to get my "don't play the game for 5 years" achievement (because I don't feel like going in & playing with clock/date settings just to get it)

Honestly, if you don't know about the game already (since it's been around for a while, with more than a few people talking about it over the years) then either giving up on it, or going in blind would be your best bet (I'd say going in blind, but everyone has their preferences)

AudioSurf...AudioSurf. What can I say about AudioSurf?

It's more than a few years old, it's got a sequel (which, as it happens, I haven't purchased or played, so I can't really compare them) and how much fun it is depends mostly on how much music you've got on your computer.

It's colorful, it's flashy, and it can be the smoothest, most casual experience ever, or a completly insane test of reflexes and nerve.

It's a fun game, and despite not that many people playing it any longer, there are still some out there, so you can compare scores & see how crazy some people are (and see that there are people who have similar taste in music, however obscure or werid it might be)

Plus, it's generally on sale, so getting it at a discount is always a plus (though $10 isn't that bad if you like reflex/twitchy rhythm games & have a decent music selection)

A short game with simple gameplay, but a nice distraction when everything is said & done.

It's inexpensive, moreso when on sale (full disclosure, I got it on sale, so under $3 for the game & it's extra content) but it also only took me about 2 hours to go through the game. Still, that's a better dollar/hour rate than going to the movies, so I'm not going to say much else about the length of the game.

The gameplay is simple, which is kinda nice in this insatance (especially considering it's a simple graphical representation of you being a super white-hat hacker [or, as the game calls it "unhacker"] via a colored square moving along a path) You use WASD, clicking with your mouse (I do not suggest using the mouse for the "unhacking" bits) or the number pad to control your little square, moving from point A to point B (though you usually stop along at points C F and P along the way) to achieve whatever goal the story put before you during each segment (episode) Sometimes there are enemies to avoid, sometimes there are traps to avoid. There are some pickups, and eventually some things you activate to move things along. Simple in execution, but with enough added as you play to keep it interesting (I was interested enough to blow through in one sitting, so take what you will from that)

The story is solid enough for what it is. It's all given through conversations between your character & the various AI's you work with (and their conversations with each other) and all the AI's have full voiceovers, which are pretty nice. It's a simple story, and I think that works in it's favor here. The story & gameplay mesh pretty nicely here. There were a couple little twists here & there, but with how things progressed they weren't terribly suprising. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.

As far as the art goes, it's nice. It sticks to standard VN art with the characters having only a few images during gameplay, with most changes simply being expressions, but that art is clean & seems to fit well with everything else in the game. After each level you get a screen that somehow relates to what just happened in the story, and they all look well done for a title from such a small group. I didn't dislike anything that was presented to me on my screen.

The music works very well as game music. It never gets overly distracting, fits the mood of the levels well, and is able to go on for a while with a smooth loop that won't suddenly jolt you with a harsh transition. I will say that the stage cleared music (played while the cleared screen image is up) doesn't always feel right with the story elements of the game. Not a deal breaker by a long shot, but just me stating my opinion.

All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase and will keep an eye out for other stuff from these folks. It's short enough to play in a single sitting, and interesting enough to keep your interest long enough to achieve that. I'll probably go back and try a playthrough on the hardest mode in a bit (I only played on Hard, since it was midnight and I had just gotten off of work) but that'll be for another day.

So, I hadn't played Ground Zeroes at all before getting this. I knew it was short (well, main mission was short) and I knew it was basically a prequel for when Phantom Pain comes out, but I must say it's a solid experience (didn't really intend for the pun, but there you go)

My current setup is bellow the minimum specs they list, and I was able to play the game smoothly with most settings on high, save for 2 that were on medium. For under minimum specs, that's impressive (I think they just really want people to play with the most highest settings, so higher specs)

The gameplay is smooth, the controls work well with the keyboard & mouse, and it's an interesting little mission that goes between peace walker and the game to come.

I'm nowhere near completing the game, but I think it'll be fun finding all the extra little things, and doing the side missions, as even though they're all in the same area, they'll put emphasis on diferent styles of gameplay.

With the starting price of 13.39, I'm satisfied with my purchase, and I've only scratched the surface of this game.

And, for those wondering about specs and everything, I'm running with an i52500k (stock) 8gb ram and a pair of GTX 590's. It's only really in the processor category that I'm below min specs, but still, if splitting the average makes the game run the way I experienced it, someone did some awesome coding on the backend of this thing.

Not really sure what can be said about Payday 2 that hasn't already been said.

If you've got a group of people to play with, it can be quite fun (especially if there's communication)

Playing with the general public can be rather hit/miss (some people are great, some are horrible little trolls [but that's true of any online game])

Rob banks; knock over convenience stores; take out South American cartels; cook meth; get tazed. You can do a lot in the game (even if most missions end with "get the stuff to the van/boat/chopper and RUN!")

It's fun, has missions ranging from quick, 1 day smash & grabs to 3 day capers that require planning and actual strategy.

Sometimes you need to sneak, other times you need to be a tank. Either way the different weapons & abilities make the game different however you decide to play.

I like it, I have fun with it, and I have a pretty solid group I play with (always a huge help)

So, auto saving means if someone dies, they're dead, end of story. The combat feels smooth, it takes time to do things (real time, so if it'll take a day to build something, and you leave for a day, it's done!) and even though I'm only to the first real safe-house, it's a blast. Looking forward to the full release, and having mouse/keyboard support (though the 360 controller works pretty well, all things considered)

A simple, yet complex piece of gaming. Quite impressive how involved each of the guns is, and also quite a bit to get used to, having to actually reload the magazines "by hand" I like it!

This game is so simple, yet holds your attention for so long. For $5 you can't go wrong.

It's Borderlands, but with a more involved main story, lots of throw-backs to the first game, and a lot of guns.
