What can I say, that hasn't been said before ?

This game is not perfect, it has a somewhat steep learning curve (but there's many guides on youtube)
But overall this is probably one of the best open ended space games out here.
The reason is simple: build an empire, fly any ship, own the galaxy, become a pirate, be the police....
You can do it all and importantly, it's actually doable in your own player lifetime.

It's a single player game, and you can mod it to hell & back.
Also Egosoft has a track record of patching games thoroughly and they did so far, with more planned on the horizon.

One thing I actually don't like is how partial the X4 ingame encyclopedia is.
And also performance is okayish but like all builder games at some point there's limiting factors.
