I have nearly 700 hours in this game and I have a long answer and a short answer.

Short answer: is this game is amazing, Bar none best zombie game.

Longer answer: is that this game really does give you the feel of trying to survive. The menus can be clunky, the combat can be trying sometimes. Despite that, those things really make this game feel like a simulator where you are playing a scared survivor trying to get by. Its a hard game when you begin. Most start off dying pretty quick. Even though I tend to live longer after my time gaming, death is inevitable. Death is apart of the game, it will happen. Every-time you die you learn something new and you start to make your own rules to surviving. You start to really develop a system kinda like Zombieland that you use to stay alive. No other game has the vibe this one does.

Then once you feel you really have experienced it all, it has an amazing amount of well crafted mods from many developers. These all have internal Steam Workshop support and this game begins to have an unlimited amount of replay-ability whether through mods, or your own head-canon and goals. I recommend everyone to try this game.
