It is the good

Short game, but the graphics are amazing! (as of 2023)

Better than the Skywalker saga.

It's a lot of fun! Shotgun takes a bit to reload, but you can cancel that out by unziping your pants and... never mind.

Spoilers... but you probably don't care.

Edit: After going through the entire game and losing my mind; I retract my opinion. The complaints I made are still valid, but now I have even more complaints than before. Some are the complaints will still be unchanged:

-Aiming in this game is very bad. Especially when you're trying to come around the corner and shoot the cultists.

-Why can't exhaustion make you just walk normally and not penalize you severely? I get the losing stamina thing, but when you're fighting for your life, you're adrenaline would at least keeping you walking normally. Let alone keep you running.

-Back to the aiming problem; the aiming cool down is extremely punishing too. And I mean way too punishing.

-Bosses will always catch up to you and mess you up. You can't get any space from them and their attacks and always feel instant.

-The hints are fine, but it feels like the hints help out way too much.

-Bosses becomes easier (after fighting the Knights) to the point where they become a joke

-Good luck trying to get all achievements in the game. It's like playing as both a slug and a stormtrooper (easily dies and the games abysmal aiming mechanic).
-Knife only run is both ruthless and unfair
-There is no New Game+
-Hard mode is like get my nuts stepped on by a bunch of cleats
-There's not enough replay value, motivation, and worth
-The Knights are the hardest bosses in the game and are unbalanced and will always ruin
your run
-Save scumming is one of the only ways to get all the achievements and I don't bother
putting my time and stress into something that is unfair and unbalanced
-You can not dodge the cultists effectively. You will always get shot at and you will lose a lot
to them
-The Dungeons extra is not fun and is like a endurance test.

-Using the pistol and aiming at the zombies heads are some how a bullet sponge
-There's a small chance that you can instant kill them by shooting them in the head... but
its uncommon

I get it's trying to be like the old Resident Evil and Silent Hill games, but it doesn't need to be. I just wished the controls and the gameplay were a lot better. Overall, I don't recommend this game.

I thought people were exaggerating about how disappointing the game... yeah they were right. They went over board with the quick-time events and the story is just laughably bad. It's entertaining to watch the cut scenes though (as in it's some how funny as hell to watch).

Hands down, one the best PC game of all time and the most important in history.

I really don't like the dialog, but the game play is not bad.

Needs a Remaster BADLY:

It was fun back then, but everything aged like milk.

I'm happy to be playing this on PC than on the Nintendo 64... that was hard as that one time-
