Being able to play my favorite metroidvania games from the DS to PC, is a literal blessing.

Thief remastered maybe the worst in the series, but I don't think the game is bad either. There are a bit of bugs and glitches in the game and the AI is just laughable. Even it's path finding can break. What frustrated me (gameplay wise), is when movements & actions don't work properly. When fighting, the combat is pretty bad. I think this was intentional for not being stealthy enough or something.

I've been speedrunning the game and been trying to get every achievement for a while, hence the hours. There's a good chunk of challenge in this game and also found it repayable. I really like how it's all open world. Not to mention the side quests, shops, gear upgrades, map layouts, and secrets. I'll probably add more to this review, but this is all I have to say at the moment.

Still Not Dead is fun for a couple of minutes, but starts to feel repetitive relatively quick. Progression is done by killing a set amount of demons, in order to unlock the next level. The further you progress, the more you have to kill. Personally, I like the concept and would like to see more of these type of games in the future. It's just that this game is not my cup of tea when it comes to the some of its mechanics. Not really a huge fan of the retro like artwork for this game, but that's just my opinion. I got a discount on this game so I didn't really spend all that much. Even without the discount, I think the pricing is fair.

This game is very relaxing and somehow fun. I had even more fun coming up on names with my girlfriend and getting hyped for a new duck to spawn. I'm a huge fan of ducks and love the charm like feel that the game gives off.

I would say, this is way better than the third installment. I loved the music, liked the special weapons, the skill tree, running and gunning everything down. I really like how the series is adapting and adding new things to it. I really enjoyed playing though it and getting all the achievements. Though it's not the best in the series, I'd still recommend it to anyone that's a fan of running and gunning. On the negative side, I do understand why hardcore fans don't appreciate this game all that much. There are a couple of things I didn't like either For starters; finding secrets was cool and all but when you have to parkour to get it, it's pretty bad. I don't know if it's the engine or if it's the developers (or both)... but every time you jump from one spot to another, there is a chance that you'll slip. No literally, it's like the game pushes you off from where you're trying to stand. It gets laggy pretty badly as you get further into the game. The NPC's are bit weird. In all seriousness (lol SERIOUSness), WHAT IN THE ACTUAL ♥♥♥♥ IS WRONG WITH THEIR EYES!? They're huge! (and that's what I wished she said) A lot of the dialogue is pretty cringe though. Couple of them are pretty funny. The skyboxes are unnecessarily huge, which could be why the game runs poorly. Other than that, I had fun. Didn't really ran into that many problems.

I don't normally enjoy anime like characters and games, nor do I like visual novels. However, I found this experience enjoyable.

I really enjoyed how the novel breaks likes to break the fourth wall and how it was all put together (code wise).

There are a lot of Easter eggs in it (especially when going through the game files) and has the random chances of the novel doing something "unusual".

This game isn't that good in my opinion:

The movements made me feel slow; jumping too felt like I was floating.
-Trying to control the character by using the D-Pad is impossible. The game will not allow you to customize the
movements and I've tried all of my controllers. Trying to map the controls with JoyToKey was a nightmare in itself.

The multiple choice Q&A's are not color blind friendly. Highlighted texts look exactly the same as the non highlighted texts. For no reason though, some of the highlighted texts look a lot different compared to the ones that I couldn't see.

There are a couple of weird visual glitches when playing on a ultra-wide monitor.

When it came to combat, I really didn't like the mechanics. I can see that many people like the mechanics, but personally I don't.

Eventually when I got to the first boss, I got absolutely wrecked. I don't mind dying from a hard fight, but since I could not find a near by safe room, had to come all the way back to the boss room (and then dying again). That that made me lose my ♥♥♥♥.

Huge fan of the Metroidvania genres. Controls, Combat, Bosses, Side Quests, Music, and story are all very very good.

Couple of things I didn't like is that there is a chance that the audio would start breaking for no apparent reason.

The entire level is randomized, which means that the next playthrough/save file will be completely different. Thus giving it more of a challenge.
