extremely nuanced and very good story. It's an excellent dungeon crawler based on D & D with the Pathfinder rule set

Excellent turn-based RPG. Strong variety of missions with interesting objectives. Story is captivating as well as are the cast of characters.

Artifact is an interesting game. It's not quite a simple card game, but feels more like a turn-based strategy game. It's complicated and has a steep learning curve. However, once you start getting the hang of the game it becomes easier to predict plays and know your combos. I have spent a significant amount of time playing phantom drafts because I do not enjoy losing money by buying tickets and I'm still hoarding my tickets until I become a better player. The game does have some issues that will hopefully be fixed in the near future by valve.

I am a disabled gamer and require an unusual mouse sensitivity for most Unreal Engine games. I can usually set a custom camera sensitivity through the INI files with UE games. However, Dragon Quest XI hides the camera speed options from being edited making this game inaccessible for me. I cannot recommend this game until Square Enix fixes this game. I hope in the future their developers takes this into consideration.

Issue Resolved: the patch on June 27 has resolved my issues with Final Fantasy IX. The mouse pointer no longer centers when using a movement key. Thank you, Square, for fixing this bug. I am changing my review as a result.

Original Review:

I had been looking very forward to playing Final Fantasy IX for the first time. The story had me quickly engaged, and I was looking forward to my new adventure. However, the technical issues and bugs with the controls have soured me on this game.

As a disabled gamer, it is important that a game functions well in windowed mode with an on-screen keyboard. Final Fantasy IX currently has a very severe bug that centers your mouse pointer on your screen whenever you hit a movement key (WASD or the arrow keys). A game should never move your mouse pointer when you are not using the mouse. You press any of the directional for your character and the mouse will move. This is very irritating when using an on-screen keyboard.

This bug will also affect controllers if you are plagued with the character continually moving in one direction even when not pressing a joystick. Thus you will be required to use keyboard shortcuts to quit the game.

I recommend staying away from this game until Square takes the time to fix these issues.
