Great game,
You'll need to have patience to figure out the right strategies to get from your garage to a self made building but once you've learned and adapted it's not that hard to sustain a company.

Don't dive into the automation until you are certain the team can handle the product year after year.
Balancing update teams and support teams seems tricky at first but having them complain about "there is nothing to do" is allotted better than the dreaded "I'm stressed".

There is always room for improvement though.
Once you've taken a step into automation it seems like you can make it so that everything runs by itself but for products like games you'll have to do the Expansion packs manually and Porting software is quite effective aswel but no way of automating this either.

in the end all i can say is I've played and conquered, and most of all enjoyed.

PS if you liked the cute game from back in the day GameDevTycoon... this is pretty much its more elaborate equivalent and worth your time if you liked that game

fun gamebut at the moment it isnt working propperly for me. not enough ram or something. so as is i wouldn't recommend it just because you risk paying for something that doesnt work
