Interesting prologue, not my style of game, but I know the dev is passionate about the product and has a story in mind for it. I'd like to see how things tie together in the end cause right now there are two very different threads here.

There's not much I can add that others haven't. The game has an active community of fans, modders, and artist that lead to high quality mods. You can pretty well get anything you want in the game. There isn't so much of a right way to play as a right way to learn to enjoy it. If you can enjoy making characters and throwing them into situations to make the best of it, then you'll probably enjoy this game.

Honestly I don't know what all to say about this game. I'm fairly new to the genre. The gameplay loop is rather simple and enjoyable, the variety of activities mean that there's no shortage of things to do, and it has a pleasant charm.
It has my recommendation.

It pains me to write this review, and I'm sure that this is aproblem unique to my machine, because the was supposed to be a better running, more optimized version of skyrim! Sadly, I can't run this game above 5 frames persecond compared to the 38-62 fps I can run a heavily modded version of the original skyrim with all DLC and 132 mods on the High graphics setting and one very nice ENB.
Whatever was done in this has fundamentally broken the base game to the point of unplayability. I'm going to go back to modded skyrim after I finish Enderal, that the only reason I donwloaded this was to have 2 copies of skyrim and cut down on my mod list.
My recommendation: Purchase the original game and all DLC, its cheaper. Then mod the crap out of it. Get NMM and start with the most endorsed mods of all time, then check out MXR mods on youtude for a good mix of funny, sexy, and really good environmental mods.

This is a wonderful, relaxing game. I found that the seaons and breeding cylces were a nice surprise, and after a bit of experimentation I managed to get a self-maintaining system. The art style was nice and the seasonal changes subtle, but if you're paying attention they're there. I didn't like the otter though, it remained submerged constantly until the spring rolled around.
It did everything as advertised and the best part is: its totally free.

Simply complex. The concept is simple and easy to learn, but applying it to the matches make it a truly in-depth, fun, fast paced strategy game.
