I felt like I have written so little for such an amazing game, so after about 2 years, I think its time I write a better and more detailed one.
Borderlands 2 felt like the RPG game that I always wanted to play childishly; hence the cartoon-ish graphics, the sarcastic characters, the magical campaign, magnificent side quests, etc. It frankly seemed to fascinate me everytime I discovered something new in the game (and believe me, there is more than enough when it comes to new and awesome stuff to be discovered). I found myself spending hours delving deep into the storyline and having the most fun ever. Now that I have got the ''how I feel about the game'' out of the way, lets list the pros and cons of the game.

PROS:
The main storyline is fulfilling and the side-quests are thoroughly enjoyable.
The game and the characters are really fun, you may even relate to some in certain regards.
The developers are nice people, so you can depend on the continuity.
DLC's aren't necessary, but sure are recommended by me, hence they are well-thought and really fun to play.
The fact that you can play the story with your friends (and the fact that the difficulty and the chances of rare loot are increased by the player count) is simply perfect.
The skill trees of the characters you choose vary and they let you master the gamestyle you want.

CONS:
Certain legendary items can be difficult to acquire (though this enables boss farming, and may be in the favor of some people).
The side quests you get early on in the game stay at the same level of difficulty at all times, so you need to take the quest and finish it rather quickly in terms of leveling, to get the best reward.
Certain side quests may be frustrating, as the reward isn't always worth the pain.
You may shed manly tears completing certain tasks.

Overall, I definitely recommend this game to anyone that loves good npcs, a fine storyline, magnificent side-quests that add the extra flavor that you need, a fine forged RPG game, and a long and rewarding road consisting of leveling and farming.
