Pros:
- Runs at stable 240+ fps in 1080p
- Addicting gameplay loop
- Very high skill ceiling
- You can unlock every operator in the game without spending extra money. No attachments or guns/gun mods are paywalled

Cons:
- Positional sound is weird and confusing sometimes
- Worst case of peakers advantage in any FPS I've played (you'll be constantly dying to jiggle peak sweats without even seeing them on your screen)
- Kill camera is buggy and sometimes it makes legit players look a bit sus
- UI is terrible and UI person has to go
- Competitive map pool size is intimidating for new players. GL learning 20+ maps simultaneously

After playing this game for 4 months and reaching emerald rank, I can not recommend this game on PC anymore. You get cheaters literally every play session. The higher you climb, the worse it gets. I'm considering moving to console for siege in near future. One of the people who hacked in my game recently is rank 300 and still not banned (with 150+ games this season, its a joke).

I went from not recommending this game on 1.0 release due to major technical issues I've encountered and echoes just being boring to run, to buying a supporter pack after season 2 release.

I have to admit, they really cooked with this one. I've found myself running echoes and loosing track of time, and quite often I was over completing echoes too, because it was just fun to blast through them.

There are quite a few bugs still and frame drops. But game runs way better, and looks better too. Endgame is still a bit shallow, but it got much better.

Please, give this game a shot. Its one of the best ARPGS on the market right now (and certainly THE BEST for SSF players), and this team deserves your support. Let them cook.

Very strong risk of rain vibes, runs pretty well. Mob density on maps is very low, even 20-25 minutes into the run. I liked how responsive the movement is, but it's just boring.

Pros:
- graphics, visual style, and animations are top tier
- high-quality cut scenes
- combat is great and responsive (if servers don't lag)
- very stable framerate on high settings

Cons:
- the servers (game is always online, and you can start randomly rubberbanding both in the open world AND instanced content)
- undercooked UI (no keyword search in map/skill tree)
- limited inventory space
- not able to zoom out (I get that the game was made with consoles in mind, but please let PC players have this option)
- as of the beginning of season 2, loot is very underwhelming; it is very hard to find items with the right stats for your build (and you can only re-roll 1 stat)
- no loot filter
- very few pinnacle bosses (and the only one that you can farm (Uber Lilith) drops literally nothing and has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ set of mechanics that oneshot you)
- materials that are required to summon uber bosses are tied to timed content that is not always available for you (hell tides)

If you're looking for a casual ARPG, where you can get build going in several days - this one is for you. If you're looking for ARPG that you can play as a main game for years - this is probably not it. I'm planning on revisiting it every season and updating this review.

Man, what an experience. This is my first cRPG and I've had a blast playing on "balanced" difficulty. The game provides you with a number of tools that you may find in sandbox games. Combat is interesting and very complex. The story is fantastic, the voice actors are absolutely killing it and Larian's writers do not treat their players like idiots.

I can see myself playing through this multiple times to see every little bit of the story that I've missed and get different endings (I literally told one of the origin characters to go ♥♥♥♥ themselves, and never found the other one :D).

My only major complaint is the current state of Act 3. It is very buggy: pathing issues, your companions can sometimes glitch out and not attack, the enemy takes forever to take a turn, etc. I'm hoping Larian would address it in future patches.

Pros:
- Very good, somehow predictable story and a pretty big cast of memorable characters
- High-quality voice acting
- Environment design
- Barely any mandatory "open world" grind
- Hordes of zombies are fun and challenging to fight
- Driving physics are great and I've found myself using a fast travel feature only a few times, because of how smooth it felt to ride around on my bike

Cons:
- AI of human enemies is terrible
- Side quests are very repetitive and boring
- Some pacing issues at the start of the game. The main story starts pretty slow and you have to do mandatory filler content to progress, which I wasn't a fan of
- You can't increase your ammo or resource-holding caps by crafting bigger bags like in a lot of other open-world games. The only way to increase your inventory size is by investing pretty deep into skill trees while leveling. This was not a problem at first glance, but "traps and throwables" skill nodes are very deep into the survival tree, which otherwise is pretty useless and you would never invest in it during early levels. In this case, you're capped at 3 molotovs and 2 or 3 traps of every kind, which is not even remotely enough to fight a horde
- no custom fps limit slider in graphics settings

Performance:
It ran fine on my rig at 1080p with a mix of high and mid settings (R7 3700x, 2070super, 32gb of DDR4). I've managed to get consistent 90 fps at all times.

Overall, it was a great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Pros:
- Post-apocalyptic atmosphere done right
- Does not overstay its welcome (took me sub 6 hours to beat)
- Game made by Ukrainian devs, so your purchase supports them
- Fighting humans is fun. I loved the physics of pieces of armour flying around
Cons:
- Probably the dumbest AI I've seen in any FPS
- This game puts a lot of emphasis on stealth, but stealth simply does not work. You can be crouched one level below a hostile human and he would spot you. I ended up just facerolling everything on normal survivor mode.
- Mutant animations are very clunky and low quality

This game did not age well, but if you're like me and want to play the first 2 games before jumping into Exodus - get it (probably get at 75% off).

Oh man, this is a hard one. I've had a great time with this game despite this combat system. I really don't know how you guys find this combat system interesting. It is tolerable at best in 1v1 scenarios, but you're constantly being ambushed by 2 or more thugs. In the early game I can somehow slice guys in light armor, but mid to late game you really need to start executing combos and hit vulnerable spots, or you would hardly do any damage (even with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hammer hitting the guy's head, his hp bar barely moves, unless its a combo finisher). The problem with it: if you stand 1 inch too far from a foe, or someone (or something) gets in the way of your weapon, you're screwed, your finisher is gone and you did 0 damage. All that resulted into me using fast travel with maxed scouting so I could minimise my interactions with this combat system.

Don't even get me started about the ending, it really blows.
