I feel like It's a bit too early in a way to give a solid rating when it comes to the story of this expansion because like in the Witch Queen, we did get more story content after the first week or two and even more when the raid was released.

Sure, the story really did leave out some crucial parts completely without explanations like wtf the Veil is and why should we care about it and some other details about the cloudstriders. Also I feel like !!!SPOILER!!! the death of Rohan could have been a lot more impactful, kinda felt like that character was made literally just to die.

Other than that the campaign was super enjoyable (and challenging on legendary) and the final boss fight was amazing. Tormentors feel challenging but still fun to play against and I can't wait to see that enemy type to be utilized more in future content. Neomuna also really brings me those Halo: ODST feelings for some reason and, intended or not, I really like that.

In terms of technicalities the launch was really stable and I could play through the campaign during the launch day without disconnects and everything was *mostly* bug-free (those damn pyramid elevator beams inside the Typhon Imperator were buggy as hell and wouldn't work at all if your fps was above 60 so you had to limit your fps to proceed)

Like many other players have noticed, Strand felt a lot more powerful during the campaign because of the reduced cooldowns on your abilities. After the campaign when you get access to the "proper" strand it feels kinda off and takes time to get used to but nonetheless It's extremely fun and instantly my favourite subclass to use.

The Lightfall story has good amount of replayability in the form of weekly missions (with pinnacle rewards like in the Witch Queen) and just straight up replayable missions along with pretty decent amount of post-story content to play through and that's excluding all the seasonal content.

And as always the music is absolutely amazing and completely surpassed all of my expectations.

All in all I think the community just set their expectations WAY too high for this expansion and in my experience it has been very enjoyable so far.

Seasonal bundles for D2 are always worth buying. 70% discount for silver and a free emote? Sign me up.

100 times better than the "Throne of Atheon Emote Bundle" which gives only 10% discount and an emote that should have been available for in-game achievements.

If you are contemplating on which bundle to buy; this is it.

Emote should have been a reward from the VoG. Had potential to be the next "Luxurious Toast" emote to do some light flexing with.

Discount for silver in this package is only 10% so if you're looking to buy a pack just for silver, buy the seasonal bundle for 70% off instead.

If you want to buy some cosmetics with silver this is the best deal you're going to get. The included emote is pretty cool as well this time around so altogether a great deal.

Simply put this is the best game i have ever played.
Awesome community, great game, consistent updates, tons of content and hard/challenging content.

If you're a massive masochist and want to get kicked by russians every single game because you speak english instead of russian this is a game for you.

The slavic playerbase of this game has become extremely toxic in the last 2-3 years and they WILL kick you as soon as you say even a single word in english, even if you're top-fragging, they don't care. They'd rather lose 16-0 than even try to communicate in the capitalist scum-language that is english.

Even if you use a software to block the east-eu and russian servers you will still meet them in every single game. (connecting to australian/us servers works pretty well but you will suffer from 100-400 ping which will most likely be unbearable and get you kicked)

I would suggest against buying this starter pack unless its in at least 50% sale. The value you're getting for your money just simply put isn't worth it when compared to the average cost of the contents.

All this in total gives you about 1,000,000 skill points for "free" which equals to 2 weeks of skill training that you can skip.

Some people that are saying that the pack doesn't work; You need to log in to the client with your STEAM account by linking steam and eve. This obviously does not work on accounts made before eve was added to steam.
