The simple gameplay loop of getting chased by sentient vehicles is very well executed, genuinely scary and stressful trying to avoid the killer vehicles. The biggest downside is the story, it's barely there and feels tacked on last minute to try and give the game a little more beef when in reality the current three modes are more than enough to get bang for your buck, like the cutscenes piecemealing you the plot aren't that engaging but I digress, the core gameplay is a lot of fun and you can mess with the difficulty by giving yourself less health so I recommend this for anyone who wants something scary as well as challenging

This game was a great experience overall. Liked seeing some obscure SCPs get some shine and the storytelling was fairly good throughout. A few of the puzzles towards the end did take away from the experience towards the end as I was getting frustrated but in the end thats a minor criticism. 7.5/10

Took me a little bit to figure this game out, the scariness did dissipate a little and I was able to find the elevators fairly quickly. I did like the suffocating atmosphere and the liminal feel of the game that was presented but the constantly appearing images did get a tad annoying. The threat was very minimal (dying can happen only sets you back to Floor 10) but once you start finding elevators they didn't appear as much, the games cheap so I do recommend but the concept is a little wasted potential as there isn't a whole lot of meat to the game and the gameplay is fairly straightforward.

I hate to say it but this was the first F2F that I truly didn't enjoy. The games biggest issue is the filler content. Now, this has been present in every chapter of this series but this was the first one where it really bugged me. This was a 20 minute game dragged into 2 hours of playtime by adding a lot of boring tasks and minigames (including the fishing section that really outstays its welcome) with a real abrupt ending that has very little buildup. At least Ironbark which I thought suffered similar problems had sections that were made to build dread for the characters situation, this game just kind of meanders along in comparison. There are some sections like the Ouija Board and the whole subplot with Mike that might've been interesting if they had gone somewhere but unfortunately they get dropped completely, which means they end up being filler that pads out the runtime. Plus the fact that even though this is the 5th entry there is still the same bugs that can softlock the game (still fairly easy to get stuck on objects like cars or doors) to cause you to restart which I don't know how those haven't been cleaned up in the 3+ years the series has been going for, it boggles my mind. End Verdict 4.5/10 I do not recommend unless it's on sale

While overall this game is still good and a solid sequel to The Exit 8, I also feel that it's a downgrade in terms of gameplay. Instead of the simple loop system that The Exit 8 provides, you have what is a bit of a convoluted mess in terms of figuring out how to remove anomalies. Sometimes you have to look at them, sometimes not. Sometimes you can run through and not bother finding the anomalies, other times you can't progress until you find it. All of this wouldn't be an issue if the game didn't just chuck you in and expect to find it out yourself, which makes the first 20-25 minutes very frustrating and confusing. But also by the time you do figure out what do with the anomalies, the game becomes too easy and you can blitz your way to the end in 2 minutes. If Exit 8 was a 9/10 for me, this is a 6.5/10, the anomalies are still pretty unique and scary so they are this games saving grace.

A great Spot the Difference Horror Game that has lots of anomalies to find with plenty of replayability. Highly recommend if you're a fan of The Exit 8 or any other Observation Duty game

Well made liminal space horror game, if you're a fan of the uneasy atmosphere of the backrooms w/o entities then this is your game

NOTE: Thanks to the dev for giving me a key, very much appreciated.

This first person spot the difference horror game does its own take on The Exit 8 formula, by having you look for anomalies against a set time that you must complete it by.

I quite liked the speedrun aspect, definitely made the game feel fresh by having its own unique gimmick. The fast paced nature of the game helped keep me engaged, which is a huge plus especially as other games in the genre can drag when you are anomaly hunting. I also liked the fact that to play the other maps you first had to beat the timer on the current map (which tbh isn't that hard of a challenge after a couple goes).

The 3 maps are small in size, not got much to talk about there they are alright except for the lighting was a little dark on the second map. The anomalies repeat often and get fairly easy to notice once you've been in for a few minutes but I really wouldn't consider that a negative, this isn't a game focused on the quantity of anomalies and the fact there's 3 maps means the repeated anomalies don't get annoying. There weren't any scares or anomalies that try to kill you either, which with how the game is structured makes sense but its lacking in the horror department a little.

To sum it up, fun Exit 8 like game with a speedrun/challenge aspect that for the cheap price is a game I'd definitely recommend, especially if you are a fan of the horror spot the difference games. 7.5/10

EDIT: Quick thing to note is I had to beat the first map twice to unlock the second map fairly sure that's a glitch but just something to note
