I am in love with this game. The story, the characters, the music, all of it. This game is so masterfully crafted and I can tell that the developers poured their hearts and souls into this game. The best of this is, I have only finished Route A and already feel this way. This is definitely a game that I can reccomend to anyone looking for a great action RPG with similar combat to the Bayonetta series. Aside from some technical issues which can be fixed with a mod (FAR mod), this game is perfect IMO. Great job Square and Platinum!
EDIT: Routes B C D and E add so much more to the game than I originally thought. Doing these alternate routes make me love this game even more. Please do yourself a favor and buy this game

I've currently only played the first 3 or so levels and this game is absolutely charming! The hand drawn visuals along with the amazing soundtrack truly makes this run and gun platformer stand out! I don't know if this is me being bad but there does seem to be a bit of challenge as well in this game, which is always welcome! I love it!

Multiplayer is good but not great (riddled with microtransactions and low playerbase, impossible to find a game other than TDM). Campaign wasn't worth playing. Zombies alone is where this game shines. 14 official maps through DLC and custom zombies maps as well. I can only reccomend this game if you want to play zombies. Zombies is truly saving this game

While I recommend this game, I feel the need to point out that this game could use some work in optimization and and fluidity. The game itself is a blast to play (I know I have a small amount of hours but I spent time playing it on a friend's account) and it is even more fun if you team up with friends. The implementation of the battle royale in this game is far superior to that of H1Z1. There are a couple things that can be improved. This is mainly optimization. I struggle to get 60 fps with medium settings at 1440p with a pretty hefty graphics card (980ti). However, I feel the developers will fix this within the coming months. Another thing that annoys me (however not to the extent of the optimization) is the fact that textures do not fully "load in" or sharpen until a couple seconds after I start the battle. These things can all be fixed with time and I have no doubt in my mind that the devs are working their hardest to do this. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who felt that H1Z1 was a dissapointment, this game helps make up for that hole that was left by it for me. Just beware of some of the performance issues and lack of optimization going around right now.

Having played this game several times and winning 0ish times, this game continues to have the same amount of enjoyment for me as the first couple of times I've played this game and it keeps calling me back. Yes, there is a big learning curve. Yes, you will not win ALOT (talking from experience here). However, if you're on the fence with this game, convince a friend to get it and team up. Every game is different and enjoyable!

Anyways.... Now that I have changed my resolution I will give a more objective review. This game is flat-out GORGEOUS! The explosions and the world are an amazing feat of game design. The story is like any other just cause game. Blow stuff up and destroy a dictatorship. You know... the usual. The port and performance is meh. I get this wierd flickering a blurriness (that is almost like a reflection) during cutscenes... Whatever. Still fantastic game!
EDIT: The blurriness is cause by SMAATx2. So it's just a little bug. Changed it to SMAA and it's all better!
