"if we had skyrim with this kind of combat system, it would be one of the best games ever" or a sentence like this had first introduced me to this game, played the demo, had lots of fun, and bought it.

The thing I love the most is the melee combat, kick your enemy to stun them, move backward to prepare a stab, and so on.
Every weapon type has an unique power attack depending how you are moving, this felt great but a normal attack feels like in oblivion, where you are just whacking your weapon around. The game is made that most enemies are stronger than you, so you need to beat them with the environment (chug a barrel at an orc, make a statue collapse, ...).

The other aspects of combat were alright, bow is pretty standard, with magic i pretty much only used the healing spell and night-vision, the "enchanted" weapons had some cool effects, but the glow most have is pretty irritating. At a certain point of the game you get a power which makes the game too easy, but you don't need to use it thankfully.

Story was pretty cliche, but not too bad. I just didn't like the dialog of "the girl inside your head"

The sound design is pretty bad with the looping music and the fact that there aren't any sounds at all and gameplay is a bit too random to be fair

just installed the original game for the multiplayer and it's an interesting principal, but there aren't many people who still play this game modes and u just have like 20 frames per minute (maybe it's second I donno)

I haven't touched the singleplayer of the older version so no conclusions.
