Update: Wander no longer loads past the main menu. Very sad to see it's possibly gone for good.

I recieved Wander as a gift sometime in 2015 or so, but wasn't able to play because of my system specs.

The first two hours I spent on this game were nothing but confusion and frustration. There is not much guidance as to where you're meant to go first, and I ended up restarting multiple times to reroute based on video guides.

The language system seems interesting but I was unable to get it to work at all. Voice acting was okay, but some lines sound a bit odd. The character models are great, but some of the animations are clunky and awkward, along with the lack of blends between different actions. Griffin appears to be the most complete playable creature.

The map is large and difficult to accurately navigate (placing markers on the ingame map doesn't work, but it looks like it's meant to), and I've noticed holes in the terrain in a few areas. If you're moving too quickly, you can rarely phase through it as well. I wish I could say I'm hoping it's fixed, but as far as I'm aware this is an abandoned project.

Acquiring transformations is more than a challenge if you're not following a community guide. One is at the highest point on the map, and another is hidden in ruins where the starter character struggles to enter.

Overall, this game looks beautiful and has a ton of potential. The problem is that the developers don't seem to be working on it any more. The discussions are inactive and no new content is being posted.

Goat Sim is a game that's usually seen as a joke.

The quality is pretty impressive; all the maps are filled to the brim with objects, NPCs, and events. It also happens to look beautiful due to it being on Unreal Engine. DLCs are great, not super pricey either. There's actually relatively few bugs and issues, at least from my experience. Characters and such might clip through terrain or launch themselves, but that's just goat physics, man. Oh, and the music is awesome.

Even if Coffee Stain has moved on, the game we're left with is incredibly polished and entertaining. Mod support allows players to make even more content.

Generally a great game. Lacks the violent action that some people may be looking for, but the problem-solving and story aspects are absolutely amazing. Character design is quite interesting, with the Personality Constructs (otherwise known as cores) being one of the most expressive robots I've ever seen.
As for the storyline, it's arguably best to have played the original Portal, if only to know why you're recognized by the Central Core. Otherwise you can easily figure out what happened previously based on what the AI tells you.
Portal 2 includes a co-op mode for two players, and is more focused on solving tests than following a story. Quite entertaining to try to complete. Along with that, Workshop integration is also available, allowing players to build tests from scratch. If the PeTI ends up being too limited for creators, they can try to use Hammer and other authoring tools.
The soundtrack can be downloaded for free, and is quite a good source of background music, at least for me.

gMod is an entertaining game for the majority of its playerbase. If you are unable to play in a sandbox, then you will likely not enjoy it.

Good, clean, nonsensical and mindboggling fun. You wanna get stuck in an infinite loop? Irritate someone so much they flat-out abandon you? Try to cheat and get punished for it?

The Stanley Parable is the right game for you, buddy. It's not supported for multiplayer or modding, but why would you need to have more than one Stanley?
