I really like this collection, and I definitely recommend it to both fans of the series and to those who have never played these games. Say what you want about Telltale's writing and story decisions, but you must admit these games can bring out some heavy emotions. They may not have the same vibe as the comics or the show, but I really do think you should at least play season 1.
As a collection, this functions well and is especially a good deal when on sale. It's about 50 hours of gameplay for one playthrough, give or take, and it even has some concept art for each season and a music player, if you're interested in that kind of stuff. It's also nice to have all the games inside of one, as if you've played the original releases, you probably know about how much of a pain it could be to transfer your saves. I did experience a few graphical issues, predominantly in ANF, but it could very well just be my pc that's the issue.
Overall, I highly recommend this collection, and I think it's worth your time.
