Fun facts: you can grab onto various edges and ridges in the world and climb.
Funner facts: If you stab a weapon into a wooden wall hard enough, it will hold you in place. You can hang from it. If you use daggers, hold them reversed and plunge backstab style so they don't slide out from your weight.
Funnest fact: You can jump 30 feet into the air with a single held button.

Fighting waves of sword-wielding mooks by launching up like Neo and plunging a spear directly into their face, pogoing off them, climbing up the wall, and repeating. 10/10 game.

Though the game is very good (if dated), there's no real reason to buy this dedicated port when you can run it through steamplay/proton. You'll have to manually input your CD key to the registry for the game with Proton(install it in steam+wine first if you can't figure out how to convert it to hex), but it should generally run as well if not better.

The few big mods I've tried for the game will crash more often in the dedicated port than they do running the standard version with proton.

update:

Since coming back to look at this game in light of its sequel being announced, and they've since ostensibly removed redshell from the game. The game now uses Unity Analytics, which ostensibly can be opted out from. The EULA is still overly-aggressive in what it asks to be able to do, so while I'm willing to give KSP another try, I'd give a big "caveat emptor", and recommend looking into the issue yourself, and possibly consider blocking network traffic for the game if it suits you to do so. I'd say I'd recommend the game again, as long as you're able to handle this kind of thing. EULAs like these are common these days, sadly. It's something you have to put up with when you use proprietary software.
