An upgraded version of the original killing floor in gameplay mechanics and graphics, still a lot to come from the developers and modding community -- Expect this to be just as addictive as its predecessor in due time.

Great little game, Tend to play as my last one for the night.
Aerial movement has a medium learning curve but will GREATLY change the outcome of any match.
Customization will land you with trying out everything at first and then settling with what you like best.

Great with lots of friends or in a roleplay community. Building is beautiful and combat is.. alright. Always pack a butt rock as well as ample food and water.

A game that I swore I hated everything about. Until I actually gave it a proper chance.
Controls and gunplay have a medium learning curve that sticks even after you are finished, You will find yourself pressing 'DayZ' buttons if you switch to another FPS right after.
Recommend playing on a High Loot server at first to get use to everything then switching to a regular server once you are comfortable with the gameplay and the map.
Do not expect to run this game smooth at all times.

Purchase with a friend for its immersive open world play and roleplay possibilities.

Will like to see modding support ASAP.

Been with this game since day one. Was apart of a huge youtube machinima with it, worked for the company for a short amount of time as CSR, and moderated the community forums.
Lots of good memories tainted by horrible experiences with the company and an ignored cheater infestation.

Do not purchase under any circumstances, the game is dead.
Instead purchase H1Z1 or DayZ.

TL;DR
I've had my ups and downs with CS:GO, but at the end of the day I can always say that I enjoyed my time with it.
Gunplay has a strong learning curve at first and regular practice is a must.

Purchase for the competitive gameplay.
