Takes a bit to see the depth, but it's a fun rogue-lite city builder.

What an incredibly charming and fun little game that has a bit of everything.

Very fun, takes inspiration from Stardew Valley but adds some quality of life features. For instance, you don't waste stamina/water of you water a plot that has already been watered - lots of streamlining and the characters seem interesting enough so far.

10/10 GOTY

I've been playing this game for 15 years.

A modern build of the old Caesar/Pharaoh formula of city builders. A good buy if you're a fan of that style, however the game takes longer to startup on my PC than RDR2, so perhaps an optimization patch is warranted.

The game looks decent, plays fluidly, and offers a lot of content. I think the art direction is on point. It gets a bit repetitive and areas are level-locked, which seems arbitrary. This is the first AC game I've played since AC2 and it's a solid buy if you like the direction of the series (though I would look for it on sale because there are a lot of minor things that I feel could have been handled with a bit more polish).

There is probably nothing more about this game that has not already been said; it is a modern masterpiece of single player gaming.
