The Mortal Empires campaign is advertised as free in game, free on the Warhammer DLC Steam page, and can be downloaded and installed complete with a message informing you the content is available. Only when attempting to start the campaign is it made clear you're required to own, a still $60, Total War: Warhammer 1 in order to play. The misleading advertising and ridiculous DLC pricing have soured my overall outlook. It's a great game, but I won't be buying another Total War product.
