It's a masterfully crafted game that will at times make gears in your head turn really hard. At all points it followed its own rules, you wouldn't be required to do something completely unexpected to solve another mystery. I did have to google one fate though, which I regret, but at the time I was certain that something must be wrong with the game when it wasn't accepting my answers for the second-to-last couple of fates. Still, I've felt huge satisfaction when I was able to unwind a story with so much missing information by making logical conclusions, eliminating wrong scenarios and even writing down the known and missing pieces.
The atmosphere is thick, the characters are memorable (you will remember something about all 60 of them, whether you like it or not). The voice-acting is very well done, it is a very nice touch that non-english characters were voiced by the actors that actually speak their languages.
Also, the soundtrack is relatively simple, but it brings me real joy to listen to it every time and it really helps set the atmosphere, same as with Papers, Please.
In conclusion, if you enjoyed Papers, Please, if you love the setting of 18th century sea adventures, if solving mysteries is your thing, then I'm pretty sure you won't regret getting this game. I don't think any game has ever done what Obra Dinn did with storytelling before and it is also a great example of stories that can only be told in a format of a game.

I have only played this game for 82 minutes, but I am already compelled to review it. I will update this review if anything changes as I continue to play.

When I played the first Portal, I was 13 years old, almost twice as young as I am now. So while you can sometimes hear game journalists characterize some game's ability to break your brain as reminiscent of the original Portal, this characteristic didn't really ever work for me, since the concept of portals seemed quite intuitive to me for a long time. Not to say that both Portals didn't have mind-boggling puzzles that had me think hard with portals.

In any case, if we agree on "portal-like" meaning "mind-warping", than my experience makes Portal Reloaded a more portal-like game than the Portal itself. As the concept of time-portal and the way it interacts with classic Portal mechanics is gradually unveiled, I continue to be surprised and have to change my perspective of possibilities that are available in this game, at the same time solutions don't feel like they come out of nowhere or contradict previous perception, just expand it. Solving every new puzzle is a treat. The Aperture Science automated messages that guide you through the game are simultaneously funny, informative and overall sharp-witted. The visuals, sounds and music are pleasing and are consistent with the feel of the originals. It's obvious that the tools and resources with which this game was created were limited, and that its developers have used those resources very wisely by implementing the most important parts as well as possible, and by avoiding any excess. This is a love-letter to the original games and a great gift for the fans of the series.

Wonderfully made both technically and stylistically. Learning curve was a bit weird, but I enjoyed my playthrough in the end of the day. There is a handful of nice, logical gameplay details that you will naturally uncover as you progress. Game is fairly short, I've completed it in 5 hours, but I believe it lasted as long as it should have, besides it certainly has replayability value.

P.S.: Have to admit that towards the end I've agressively Ctrl-Alt-Deleted the game during battles on a particular island, which I've given up beating anyway. Perhaps it would have been a noriceably longer playthrough if I've allowed myself to loose my commanders there.

Very enjoyable little game.
The limited lifetime mechanic makes Minit a uniquely feeling adventure, where little world feels big and misterious. Humour and characters are very charming and entertaining. I've had a bit of frustration with some of the tasks, but they were still rewarding and I think that the game has ended right when it should have.

I bought this game because of TF2 promotional items and because gameplay trailers looked promising. What I got was one of the most worked through, most entertaining, most stylish and most atmospheric vigeo games in the history of humanity. It has so much in it, which is probably the reason the game is so cool: it's the most diverse entertainment experience I've ever had.
