I like this game, and recomend it rather than installing Quake 3 since I dont have to fidget with that. The new update made the game a bit less intimidating, LAN support has been added, theres no longer any of that premium crap to put up with you buy it or you already had it thats it. The game itself has been handled a little wierd throughout the years, first being webbased through a browser, but I'm glad they ditched the freemium/subsbscription model and made it one buy. Would I buy it for 9.99, probably not but at 4.99 or less the game is a steal considering how easy it is to set up and play. For players that enjoyed the old versions of Quake 3 and want to experience it again, this is a sure buy. Oh and don't listen to much the forums , most of them are people mad the they either can't get the game free or Premium members of the older freemium versions, both have their points.
