This is just a really good game. Period.
Up until 5 years ago or so I used to be a heavy gamer but grew tired of the countless cheap annual re-boots, micro-transaction scams etc. where in the end you never bought a game and just had fun with it.
Factorio is totally different! For the price you get a game where you will likely sit for hours and hours and not even notice how time flies by as you are too busy improving here, fixing there, expanding further and researching more!
Even though it's offered as pre-release, there aren't any real quirks that would have any impact on your gameplay fun. Had they sold it as final version I would have also taken it.
I haven't played such a fun, addictive and rewarding game in a long time!
