The BR genre isn't my cup of tea, but i must admit that this iteration of it was the nearest to my liking so far.
If i've to underline something, i would go for the combat system. I've played plenty of melee pvp games, and this is the one with the less fluid combat of all. During the execution of combos i feel to be a slave of it, even cancel it by crouching it's so imprecise... and i've not cited the netcode which is very poor, added to the fact that lot of non-EU players gets into EU servers making the latency problem a real thing when talking about combat.
In my few hours, anyway, i've managed to become more effective in combat by getting more knowledge on how read some situations and how to approach to them keeping in count the lag and the combat system, overcoming some choices which remains poor imho, the game remains an original interpretation of the BR genre

The last boss on Trauma difficulty is just crap, a boss fight driven entirely by the random factor. I managed to understand how to fall without taking too much damage from the first floor, but the other two floors, with piece of columns all the way blocking the path and making the floor not visible, don't give you any clue about how to optimize the falls. The last one probably has a specific way to be handle since is too high, but as i said you haven't the tools to prepare yourself to it. The boss instead is kinda stupid, since you need just to keep yourself near him and he won't do anything than try to walk on you, which is pretty simple to avoid. Bad design.

Early Access Review
Since i've played only the multiplayer component of the game the review will focusses only on this aspect of the game

I will provide the weak points of this production which i found as the main cause of the failure of the online component:

1- Weapons range. The main difference from the previous M&B it's the feeling while handling each weapon, where for Warband was significant, since each weapon had its own strategy of usage, obtained by the range, that was different too for weapons from the same class of usage; in Bannerlord i've noticed differences only between the main classes (one handed, two handed...) but still the differences were slight. The result is having only dog fights between players at range 0, making the footwork and the knowledge of the weapons unuseful for the most.

2- Contents. There isn't much to say, the game lacks of some gamemodes from Warband and there are few maps for each of the available modes, Talesworlds chose to improve the singleplayer first letting the multiplayer sunk.

3- Class System. A lot of more expert players described this point better than i would do, i agree with the less customization, both cosmetic and setup, given to the player which is forced to bring on the field unuseful weapons or to use unappropriate combinations of weapons and armors for his idea of build, since lot of these are forced by the class system (you're literally forced to use a specific class if you search for a specific weapon, so you must bring with you the whole package)

4- Community integration. The last chance for the game, at the moment there aren't community servers which are needed since the bad matchmaking present into the game, and then no modded feature, which could improve some aspects of the game. The game has already lost a lot of players and some gamemodes are unplayable for the lack of players, i hope there'll be soon news over this point.
