So far a good Overwatch competitor with lots of new features that bring new interest to this type of game

The Good: Factions/Politics
The Bad: Graphics/animations
The Ugly: help/tutorials/player experience/game mechanics (icebreaking, districts, ...)

Frostpunk deserved a better sequel than this.

The user interface makes this game unplayable for me.

The story is OK but it's hard to enjoy a game with these many bugs that crashes this frequently, even after 2 patches/updates.

Valve's storytelling is top notch. And it's always nice do have new Portal universe content!
The attention to details, like the insect cut scenes, is awesome.

Finished my first game and I must say I really enjoyed it.

The game plays as a mix between CIV, Endless Legend and Age of wonders taking most of the features I like in each of those games and improving on them. In the end it felt more interesting than simply conquering the neighbouring empires.

There are a few bugs that need fixing but I'm sure these will be addressed in future patches.

The graphics are beautiful and even though we can take printscreens without the UI (shift+F10), it would be really nice if we could hide the units and empire borders as well - if there's a way please let me know! ;)

The AI avatar is a great idea, but I'm baffled as to why we can only create one profile and/or avatar - some of us have partners who also play and this presents a bit of a problem because when we come back to our game the avatar has been changed by our partner. I'm sure players who have more than one game running concurrently will face similar challenges if they want to play with different avatars.

I've read a lot of complaints about the war support mechanics but I had no problem with it.

Things that need improving:

I'd also like to see seasons, like in Endless Legend and maybe combat units that have some type of medic/healer buff?

Though bugged, especially in coop, this game delivers cyberpunk on a massive scale.

Pros:
- Graphics
- cyberpunk setting
- Dialogue and voice acting

Cons (although i'd rather call them "things that need fixing"):
- Saved games - The game seriously needs some strategic places where you can safely save your progress. often you'll return to your game smack in the middle of an enemy cartel or far from the location where you left your character.

- bugs - there are plenty but nothing major (except in coop!): So far I've had my character fixed in the same direction; the path help to the objective fixed to a different mission's objective (after i'd selected a different mission to follow); my character not being able to do almost anything in coop (including open menus)
- Equipment - when you pick up weapons and other equipment the game will automatically replace your currently equipped items with them. I assume it's because they're supposed to be better items. But often, especially where weapons are concerned, the items with the best stats aren't necessarily the best for my play style, so it's very annoying to have your gun switch right in the middle of a fight without your say so. I'd love to have an option to override the game on this!

The game is so gorgeous and huge it's crazy it doesn't have a photo mode (at least that i can find...)


I am enjoying the story and the gameplay immensely.

I was a bit unsure if I should buy CK3.. I got CK2 and all the expansions and the truth is I had a really hard time understanding most of the game mechanics, and in the end spent more hours watching "how to" videos on youtube than actually playing the game.

Thankfully, CK3 is a lot more intuitive and with a much better tutorial and I was actually playing in no time. And having loads of fun. Being a streamlined version of CK2 without all the expansions (but with many of its features) does help.

You should try this game if:
> you like strategy game
> you enjoy playing characters off of each other à la Game of Thrones
> you're interested in the European dark ages / crusades period (not that you have to play as European, mind you)
> you like role playing

There's a couple of things I'd like to see in future updates:
> Better zoom and more detailed graphics on the holdings, like when you build something or as cities grow in size, etc. (come on, it's 2020!)
> Some tweaks to the UI - it's already a vast improvement over CK2 but sometimes some pop up windows overlap and you can't move or close them...

Haven't had this much fun with a platform game in a long while. Funny (and fun) and drop dead gorgeous.
