stopping at 2.1 hours, ALL of which was spent trying to get the framerate and game to work.

im rocking a 4070 rtx, ryzen 7 5800x and 64gb of ram.

5fps is unplayable.

was refused refund as i had "played" for too long. have tried every setting under the sun including setting the graphics back to "CRT monitor in 1992" and its still an unplayable slideshow.

all drivers updated/rolled back, rolled forwards, game is on SSD and there is no way in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell, barring deliberately doing a terrible job at optimisation that i should be having these issues.

the most popular mod is one that brought my framerate up from 5fps, to 8 in the open world.

in dungeons at least i can get full frames, so somethings ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seriously off.

what ML is not -

Manor lords is not a total war, it is not a grand strategy, it is not ANNO or any of those others, its also not falling frontier.

Manor Lords IS :- exactly what i wanted, a game in the spirit of games like banished.
a beautiful early access medieval village/feudal combat simulator.
perfect chillgaming for someone that wants to unwind.

in early access, hopefully with a long life ahead of it.

This game is one of those I've picked up recently that truly embraces the new age of game production, beautifully confusing at first but even my most ham-fisted attempts to figure things out let me look at some truly pretty creations. the ease at which i could start again and just play around with the beautiful world and map have made this into my go-to chillgame.

the developer is also a truly cool guy that actively sits and discusses his game with us, already having actively implemented crashfixes and optimisations and improved new user experience based on having conversations with his players! controversial, i know.

it might not be for everyone yet, but with the already promised and being delivered content updates its potential to be remembered for being a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale and corporate world is apparent.

the game is beautiful, family friendly, and very enjoyable.

Get this game if you hate yourself.

or enjoy dying alot.

This game is absolutely amazing for a long time wh40k fan, former rogue trader rpg gm etc etc.

this game is absolutely amazing on many levels, and i'd be lying if i said i was bored replaying the first ten hours to bypass a game breaking bug.

they have now fixed a large portion of these bugs and i'd recommend it to fans of the 40k universe. though be warned, there is still some jank.

a great game, its digital warhammer!

great mods make for hundreds of hours for fun, and many of the DLC are great value.

sadly shadows of change was not.

these three games however have entertained me for almost 3000 hours collectively, and still remains both more fun, and cheaper than a visit to the pub.

Enjoyable if you really like tzeench, bonus is that mother otankya and bo are also fun campaigns in their own right. ive played 30 turns in both campaign formats.

and then comes the BUUUUUUUUT...

i've bought every game and dlc to date, with my own money, and despite this dlc "catering" to me with my love of all things tzeench even i'm not entirely happy with the amount it cost me.

for less money we used to get entire factions, free lords, updates etc.

the glaring holes ive noticed are : you get no real new units
the changes to the compass etc should be avaliable to all cathay from the get go
so few new units for the price, so few new mechanics, and no fluff for the rest means that im actually pissed at CA for using us to pay for their other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, like pharaoh (reskinned troy that noone asked for)
no lore of hags
not adequate finishing of WH3's base game factions.

this whale waited til the last day with the discount, and definately would not purchase it at full price.

tbh, just use the grimhammer mod and mixus unlocker, save yourselves the money.

BB2 has better graphics (becuse this ♥♥♥♥ wont run on nything but minimum)

and zero ability to play anything worthwhile without getting flat out raped by players my out of your on kaliber (i know im ♥♥♥♥)

try the starting campaign with a team you actually want to learn? nah.

i hate EA but this is a great starwars game, definately worth getting if on sale :)

i've had high hopes for alot of games lately, this, like so bloody many others, loses me with the slow startup.

met up with friends in game after 20 suicides (takes waaay too long to do anything meaningful) aand even then when we are all tooled up and ready to go, not even other players, but a mech glitch shooting through a wall sends me back to the other side of the map to start the whole damn thing over.

any sense of achievement gets lost, youre back to stripping your clothes for a basic backpack, and the cost of not spawning randomly is impossible.
