This game blew me away, you would think this was produced by Fromsoftware themselves. The satisfaction you get from the combat in this game is untouched, the sound design really helps with this too. I found myself getting really immersed in the story with characters you wouldn't expect much from growing on you and the morality of some of the lies really making you question your interactions with certain npcs. I was so surprised with the environmental story telling too, the subtle hints scattered in levels that are blown wide open later is a really nice touch. The OST and in-game vinyls you can find are phenomenal. I genuinely love every aspect of this game and after getting 100% of the achievements, I would really recommend this for anyone interested in action rpgs or souls-like games.

After waiting years for the reboot, I can say that all the hype built up was worth it. There are a few minor issues and quality of life changes need but it's very promising to see such an active dev team and issues being addressed quickly. I'd recommend anyone that is fond of the dark souls series picks this up as it is a lot of fun.

If this game doesn't win GOTY for 2022, I'm gonna riot. Elden Ring is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, it's beautiful and the open world style will have you playing for hours 10 out of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 10 game
