Showed this to one of my friends while I was playing it and they immediately went "Dude that looks like a flash game."
Honestly, it's the most beautiful flash game I've ever played.

Combat feels like a lite fighting game. You're still capable of complex combos / strings but much simpler than a traditional fighting game.
Exploration has no tricks to it, nothing hidden behind walls. Anything worth doing is both within your sight and reach.

Worldless is right on the precipice between telling the player too little and being a masterwork of subtlety and Show, Don't Tell. For 95% of the game I just wandered around and found most of the collectibles, intuitively. Only thing is I wish there was a little bit more info given directly. There were a couple of times where the map failed me for a few minutes, but the bigger one is combat.

A more comprehensive guide maybe? A lab with infinite time to practice? When I watched videos of people playing I'd see the true depth of the combat system. But I couldn't ever quite dive into it myself and by the endgame I still felt like I hadn't truly explored it. It's perhaps my only real ding against Worldless, but plenty fixable.

I was able to 100% the game in 22 hours with some looking stuff up to wrap up the final few collectibles I'd missed and achievements.

Overall, pretty comfy game. Endgame is definitely difficult but try the demo, it's worth your time and should tell you if it's worth your money.

A wonderful game, a shame I wound up putting it down the first time around.
If stealth gameplay is anything to your liking, this game is a must buy, even more-so if you can get it on sale like I did.
Even if stealth gameplay isn't your thing, you can just blitz and pillage, Hotline Miami style. (if you're skilled enough that is..)
Stealth High Chaos is real. There is no difference between never detected, and there is no one l e f t to detect you.
If you're at all familiar with Mark of the Ninja, Dishonored will feel right at home.

Oh, and do yourself a favor and grab the dlc while you're at it. (barring Trials) It's more game, what's there not to like?

Silly little game
other reviews refer to the schmovement which is why I got the game. I can assure you there is schmovement. Even if you don't look into the advanced techs you can still just GO.
With the tricks that you have early on you can get to so many more places than you should be able to (sequence break. you can sequence break)

Couple cons. - Biggest One? No map. There are steam guides but they both feel a little obtuse.
- Less big is the lack of controls menu and ability to rebind them. Did you know you can use Q while standing to crouch? (available at the start of the game) It comes up exactly once but it is not a control ever explained.

Onto Pluses.
+ Schmovement. I said it before I'll say it again, it's honestly really fun to simply GO. And once again, you can sequence break really hard once you get the first few abilities by just nailing jumps and I find great joy in knowing I was never supposed to get this far.
+ Schmovement Tech. Even disregarding the base abilities there's tech that cracks this game WIDE open. It's fantastic once you know it but I suggest refraining from learning it until you've beaten the game. It's fun but it breaks pacing by just being better than the actual abilities. Do yourself a solid and play with those first before you learn of their obsolesence.
+ Simple game, it's a collectathon a la DK64, relax and have fun
+ Sybil is t h i c c. (Check options -> accessibility -> esc -> attire if this proves problematic)
+ You can use Y to go into first person, there is absolutely no reason for a game like this to have a first person, but you can play the entire game in it and I like that you can do that. And considering how wild you'd expect the camera to be it's surprisingly tame, no one with motion sickness could handle it but it's not as crazy as you'd expect.

Concept is great. No arguing that.
In practice it feels like LoL syndrome. Where *everything* aside from winning feels bad and you want to play more. Then you realize you've just been angry for the past 2 hours and your time isn't worth this.
Stealing the objective is a very real thing. You wait for the right time, steal it and that's the game. Out of an 8 minute game only 30 seconds matter. The 15 seconds before the first cash out, and the 15 seconds before the second.
The double barrel shotgun deserves a mention. It 2 shots literally anyone. Combine that with either invis or a taser and there is no counterplay.
Crossplay (console) has some of the most aggressive tracking I've seen in my life. Playing on PC? Use a controller, it will dramatically improve your aim/tracking unless you're on a professional, tournament winning CSGO team.
If you're on the losing team you're irrelevant to the game. You die, (if your team wipes you respawn can double in length if you were 1 sec away from respawning) you then have to crawl across the map. In some cases it's not so bad, but in others you spawn 200m away and you just have to s l o w l y C R A W L over.
You can also win with pure stall. Capture the cashout, gas grenades, fire, (edit: these can be countered by fire and smoke respectively to neutralize) dome shield, turret. There isn't counterplay to this aside from have one of your teammates be a medic. Even that's assuming the enemy team just lets you capture and d o es n 't shoot you.

Overall, don't recommend.
That's not to say that you can't have fun with this game. It's just that I can now look back, see the above and wonder why I'm still playing.

TL;DR
Concept Good
LoL Syndrome (losing always feels bad)
Meta real bad (devs want a competitive game, there is GOING to be a meta)
T H E D O U B L E B A R R E L
Aggressive Aim assist
Hackers galore

Caution,
This game *requires* friends. It is designed for multiplayer only.
Aside from that, wonderful game. It's rather similar to Stick Fight and Rounds, though it has more depth than Stick Fight, and a little less commitment than Rounds since you can fully change your build each and every round.
If you've enjoyed any game *in the genre* I'd highly recommend you get the demo and try it out. The demo locks out most of the abilities but it's still plenty enough for you to have fun and decide whether or not you want to spend the paltry $10 to experience this gem.

Also, experiment with the abilities. Our group had multiple moments of "Wait we can DO THAT?!".

Decided to grab this during the scream sale. Simply put, if you enjoyed the base game it's more of the same. 3 new bosses, good music, I was in and out in what felt like no more than 30 minutes (may have been longer but keyword "felt like"), dying only once or twice. Sure it isn't a whole lot but its also $3 (or 50% off during the aforementioned scream sale) so I'm not too terribly bothered by it.

The only thing I find negative is some of the writing, A few of the jokes are very 'boomer humor, technology bad' and others will find themselves dated in a matter of months. But overall it didn't bother me too much.
Almost forgot, there are no items. No good, no bad, and no monocle. Which means that "3 new bosses" means only 3, there are no hardcore variants. (which technically fits story wise because- but it would have been fun to fight harder variants)

+ 3 new bosses
+ good music
+ $3

- potentially dated writing
- short experience (but imo this is balanced by the price)
- no items good/bad and by proxy no hardcore fights, 3 means 3.

If you don't care about your time that's fine, neither does this.
Took 4 hours to be a l l o w e d to build a vehicle that isn't a generic truck out of a dealership with two guns strapped to it.

"It may be the weakest of the souls series but it doesn't mean that it's a bad game."
I forget who said that but it's a fairly accurate summation of DS2. I've done 2 full playthroughs and I enjoyed both of 'em.
If you want a harder time, do melee, if you want an easier time try out ranged or caster.
and d o n o t f o r g e t t o l e v e l a d a p t a b i l i t y, you may not feel it if you do level it but you WILL if you don't.

two things first, one is major nsfw warnings for bosses 5 at S**** T********, and the final boss "The End" most of this game is okay but not those 2 not by a long shot. The other is far more important and warrants all caps THIS GAME DOES ACCOUNT FOR PHOTOSENSITIVE EPILEPSY. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU HAVE IT! There is no warning, and no settings to reduce flashing lights. The major ones are boss 4 E**** V*** and the final boss "The End". It's the one thing I genuinely dislike about this game.

Got this game recommended by a friend, picked it up and had a great (albeit challenging) time if typing & bullet hell appeal to you, give it a go. If you want an easier time have a friend do the typing while you do the movement. (use parsec or something if you don't want to use the same keyboard) Story isn't super deep, and the game can lean towards shorter side if you only complete the base story but still a great game nonetheless. :) [as for the hardcore bosses.... git gud......... I haven't beaten them either please help ;[ ]

Honestly it's just a fun game but it's kinda held down by the fact that it's dead.
Matchmaking is "stomp or be stomped" with very few matches in between those two extremes, sometimes you get players with 2.5 hours in game and you sweep them and other times you get a whole team of people who have maxed their third alt account and the game was decided before you landed.
I feel sad not being able to recommend it but in it's current state.. (and likely forever state because the devs dropped it 3 years ago) I can't.
