If you manage to play this co-op with a friend, it's worth the trouble.
We spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to play together, my friend had to start an online game and set a password, I would then look at the "Buddies" and he would come up there.

It's very buggy sometimes, we played the Wailing Death campaign and had LOTS OF FUN. Doing quests together was almost as good as playing table top with friends, because I was lawful good and he was chaotic evil, so our interests constantly conflicted. He would often just kill NPCs that were quest givers just because he didn't like them and then the story would take weird twists.

Some quests required a bit of investigation and looking for clues, so we split up and gathered clues and information, then piled them up together to reach a conclusion, whcih I have never seen possible in any other game. I am sure this game did not even intend to do this, but it's easily made possible.

Some bugs are a little gamebreaking, for example my game crashed once after a 10 hour playthrough with my friend and his save would save my character the way he was based on the last game save, so when he saved after my game crashed, our last save being several hours back, my character went from level 8 to level 6 and we had to use DM cheats to fix the problem. Furthermore my companion that I booted because she wasn't attacking mobs (another bug) was back and was there to stay as well. She wouldn't attack and she wouldn't take damage either, so we had to find some cheats on google to delete her from the instance.

Other than that, so far it's been a tremendously fun experience and we've spent countless hours.

Insane game, Shodan is a nasty lady who doesn't like you and will do anything to murder you. Now imagine if it was made with AI like ChatGPT, that would be even crazier.

God, my god. If I could ♥♥♥ from playing a game, this was it.
I was already a big fan of Mafia 2, despite never having played the first one
due to being a lazy bum, however, this game gave me everything I craved from Mafia 2
that was never delivered. I now see why everyone thought Mafia 2 was a disappointment.

You simply cannot beat a masterpiece of a game like this in terms of storytelling.

Let me begin by saying that the voice acting and facial animations are simply phenomenal in this game, something I hadn't seen since L.A. Noire, only done better. You know when the characters are nervous, scared, angry or happy just by looking at their faces.
The Gameplay consists mostly of just driving and shooting, however this is done so well, because the driving feels ultra-realistic and I felt completely obligated to drive like I was really there. The shooting parts are just cover shooting, but guns were so well in this game, it makes you feel like you are in a real gunfight, the aim shakes around a lot while you walk making it hard to shoot anyone while moving, so you can't just go rambo and expect to kill everyone, you gotta play smart, because the AI isn't completely braindead, they will try to flank you and if you play like a ♥♥♥♥♥, they'll get you out of your cover one way or another.

I RECOMMEND HEADPHONES AND PLAYING ON HARD.

The side characters you play and drive along with, THESE ARE YOUR FRIENDS.
You feel like they're your friends, the game is so long that you feel emotionally connected with them and you get a sense of respect and empathy for them, because of how much you go through together.

The atmosphere is excellent, with a lot of times where you feel like "oh ♥♥♥♥, what's going on" and suddenly you can feel your character breathing heavily and feeling nervous, in turn making the player nervous.

The story telling is on par with the TV show "The Sopranos" but imagine all 6 seasons cut short to fit a 12 hour story, that is if you don't run around and do other stuff, which to be fair, isn't a whole lot, however the city is ginormous and I haven't gotten to exploring all of it yet.
Everything made sense and you almost never go "wait why the hell did that happen?" Except the one guy with the native Italian who couldn't speak English. I don't speak any Italian at all myself, but I understood mostly what he was implying, despite Tommy going "uh yeah okay sure whatever you say" when he's actually Italian himself.

Fun as ♥♥♥♥ game. I've spent so many hours playing this low budget piece of ♥♥♥♥, not because it's well made, perse, but because it's fun as ♥♥♥♥. Play this game and be scared while laughing your ass off hysterically at the same time.
I recommend this game to anyone who likes fun. You never really feel like you win or lose, because you keep getting placed in different teams whenever you respawn.
The objective is to have fun.

It's not a totally terrible game, that said
if you came to play Call Of Juarez, you will be disappointed.
If you like a mindless shooter where you get to try lots of different weapons
and shoot gangsters, this is the game for you.

Either way, there's better shooters out there and this one isn't that special. Sure,
the driving scenes can be fun when one shoots and the other drives, but it wont save the game.

Only get this game for a lower price of $1-3.
