I like this game. Rather the concept. The idea is there but there's a lot of wrong going on which most people will be extremely annoyed by if they don't like the genre of this game. Which is a progression Rogue-lite shooter.

I'll list the pros first before bashing this game

1. The core game play loop is fun. Clearly inspired by Hades with the "Boon" System. Players can experiment with a good amount of builds as they progress through the "world". Basically just killing mobs while going through portals at the end.

2. The post-game upgrades are thought out and pretty fun to experiment with. There's a good amount of customization and min-maxing stats if you're into theorycrafting/Number crunching. Although do be prepared to grind a bit to get the stats you want as bosses drop pieces of "gear" that have randomized values, with some stats obviously just bad to dilute the stat pool.

Now, time for the bad:

Firstly, there's just so much bugs in the game that can ruin initial play-through of the game. There's very common FPS stutters, the inability to move or do any action if the player gets staggered when playing with high ping which makes playing with certain people hard. There's a game mode where the player is supposed to be PROTECTED (like a safe-zone) but enemy projectiles or enemies themselves can enter your safe zone and hit you when the game clearly intends that you are supposed to be invulnerable to damage/unable to be damaged in the safe zone. Some options not being saved or randomly changing, with this specific option literally having the capability to ruin runs in a mode where you need a certain type of farmable currency to enter, and is rather rare, wasting time.

Secondly, there's weird UI design. Some text are too big to fit in the buttons the devs made for the game, so they made it SCROLL across the button to reveal the whole word/sentence which is honestly very unprofressional-like/makes it look like slop, which is weird since the art looks pretty good in the game, but they just become extremely amateurish when it comes to User Interface.

Third, the Monetization and how they handle it. There's like, 3 paid ways to get skins, and for the most part, all the skins are exclusive to each other, which i'll clarify in a bit. There's TWO DIFFERENT GACHA SYSTEMS in this game currently, one is loot box, and one is (event) based, in which both have different skins and items in the loot pool, then there's a skin shop where you have to buy out using the actual premium currency, which also has it's own skin pool. So there's 3 methods of getting skins, but not more than 1 way to get the skin you want. There is a pity currency for the main gacha pool, but the featured skin LEGENDARY (or immortal as the game calls it) costs an guesstimated average of around 300$ of pity currency if you don't pull it from the gacha, which is likely because it has a 0.0125% chance to pull. A pull being a dollar each. I understand they need to make a living but damn.

I personally enjoy this game but i can't recommend this game who are new to the genre to try this game at its current state.

Edit: Also, their banning system is seemingly bad. I've been banned for whatever reason. However I was unbanned within the hour.
