Easily the most fun party game ever.

Can't recommend this game, which is a shame.

In the beginning I loved this game, I loved the idea of exploring new planets and seeing all the unique wildlife. I even grinded so hard and got a 48 slot ship and 48 slot exosuit. I was discovering and building technologies and uploading my discoveries to the cloud. But after all that... I had nothing to do. The planets began to look way to simillar, and all the amazing stuff we were promised was missing (sand planets and faction wars etc). So I thought, to go to the center of the galaxy would be my next goal. But after watching the video about what happens at the end, it just felt like a waste of time and was a total middle finger to the people who actually took the time to get there.

Then to add insult to injury, one day I go onto play after over 20 hours of gametime and all of my gear I worked so hard for, was gone. The game had restarted to it's initial state and I tried all the fixes I could, but none of them led anywhere.

At first I was furious, but then I thought about it. Was there really anything else to do in the game? I already had a 48 slot ship and exosuit. Maybe upgrade my multitool? But then after that?

This game could have been so much more, and I really wanted it to be. But, there is really nothing more to this game besides the procedual generation, which is impressive, but is not worth $60.

It's free, it's amazing, get it.

I love this game, however you may not.

I think it's safe to say that if everyone didn't have any performance issues, this game would be rated very positivley. But unfortunately, that is not the case.

Thankfully, I own 1 980ti. So I don't need SLI/Crossfire support and I don't need to deal with all the bugs for people who have AMD cards, but it's not the consumer's fault for having an AMD card or a Multi-GPU setup.

As for the gameplay, this is probably my favorite game I've played all year. Here's a few pros and cons.

Pros:

Wingsuit/Grapple/Parachute never get old
Liberating settlements and millitary bases is very fun
Rebel drop system is genius
HUGE map, you will never run out of space
Addicting as hell, even just wingsuiting around the map is entertaining
Challenges are very fun (espically wingsuit courses)
Awesome gear mods that make you want to do challenges
Beautiful graphics, some of the best I've seen
Weapon/Vehicle selecton is amazing
Awesome and hilarious easter eggs
Tethering system adds much more variety to how you destroy or kill anything

Cons:

Driving is terrible
Vehicle FOV is too narrow (with no setting to change it)
Leaderboards are annoying
Performance/Optimization issues (not for me, but for many others)
No SLI/Crossfire support (seriously... it's 2015)

All in all, I love this game and I will continue playing it. But, if you have a machine without high-end/enthuisast hardware or even just an AMD setup, the experience I had with the game, may not be the same for you. However, from a gameplay perspective, easily one of the best games I've ever played.
