Quantum Conundrum is a fantastic puzzle game with equally fantastic writing and humor. If you enjoy the Portal series or other similar puzzle games, I would strongly encourage you to give this game a shot.

This game is more adorable and emotional than I thought possible for a game about a bunch of rectangles, but that just speaks to how fantastic the writing and narration is. I would easily recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good puzzle game.

This game is jaw-droppingly beautiful and very well executed. The story is light but deep and fantastic, and players are rewarded for exploring outside of the main path. I've gone through this game twice and watched another friend go through it, and I'm still not tired of it.

In structure it's a pretty basic RPG, but making it about a kid collecting candy and costumes on Halloween in order to save their sibling from monsters makes this a fun, innocent game that's easily enjoyable. The battles can be a bit repetitive, but overall it's a good game that's worth a look when it's on sale. Just wish it had voice acting.

This game is not as fun as the previous two entries in the series. It just felt slower and not as clear what there was to do. Maybe it was just the certain combination of locations I had to find the items in. Either way, I had much more fun with the previous two games. It also bugs me that the ending is completely randomized and has zero bearing on anything you find or do.

I have not played this game since I was a little kid, and the pure nostalgia joy I got from playing this again was fantastic. This is a great, short puzzle game for any kid that I would highly recommend. I also have to commend the creators for making Freddi a surprisingly legit detective. In the course of my quest to stop the mob from performing a total takeover of the local economy, I worked with a drug dealer and bribed a local official. Good stuff for a kid's game.

Pinball and RPG are two genres that I would never think would mix this well. If you're just curious to see what the result is, it's worth the buy when it's on sale. The gold you get just isn't enough to get through some of the difficulty spikes, and it doesn't always feel like what you spend the gold on actually effects the game that much. It's worth playing as a curiosity and as an idea of where this genre hybrid could go, but don't buy it at full price.
