I cannot recommend this game enough. For a game that was $20 at the time (now only $25), it's filled me and my friends with hours of enjoyment and there's many more to come. It started with us making a world all together and the game hooked me so much that I ended up making a solo world so I could continue playing.

The aesthetics remind me of 7 Days To Die, while the premise reminds me of Half Life with little flavors of Silent Hill, Resident Evil, It Follows (if you know, you know.) etc. The graphics can look amazing while keeping that low resolution poly feel that older players like me yearn for, reminding me of a better era of gaming, where everything isn't just UE5 DLSS slop.

The gameplay feels extremely rewarding, especially If you don't mind occasionally being patient for some things, like accuracy 10. Every level of accuracy feels noticeable, unlike other games where the levels are there just as a dopamine pump and serve no real purpose, this game has a reason for each level and because of that each level is rewarding. Crafting is intuitive in the sense that when you originally learn a blueprint, you're putting together the pieces to help you remember what it takes to build each item, while at the same time understanding this new item you've learned.

The story is fantastic. I've never had a survival game actually fill me with a sense of wonder every second I spent in it, and I think that's because in this game, each new place serves a purpose. You're progressing without being lead down a completely linear path, you're not just building a base and surviving, you're understanding and learning what happened to this facility where you work and what secrets might have been hidden while meeting new colleagues and hearing about their experiences.

This game and it's developers deserve so much love and it's criminal how underrated and unknown this game currently is. Spend the $25 and enjoy video games again.

Extremely disappointing to see this game at "Mixed" when it's honestly a VERY enjoyable experience.

There's a small learning curve for how certain things work, like teaming up, forming a hive, hopping worlds to join each other, etc - but once you figure these things out, it's fun.

The micro-transactions are completely cosmetic, the base building is similar to sims with the amount of detail and customization, the character customization is insanely in-depth, the game-play is smooth and the combat feels rewarding.

Don't read too into the reviews, find some friends to play this with, and just jump in. Give it a chance. It's a FREE game.

I had this game & played it every now & then but when I went to reinstall this, it's telling me I need to PAY for this previously free for years game?

What a joke.

Games not entirely dead but the few servers you will find are being used for "tournaments" where you'll be kicked immediately upon joining.

Loved this game when it was first released but it's just unfortunately dead now, almost no players. :( Please play this game.

Super fun and addicting, especially if you're a fan of the Lord of the Rings & the world they're in.

Kind of grindy at times, think classic WoW.

Used to really enjoy this game, took a break, got a new computer, and decided to give it another go. Lo and behold, all of my progress is gone, because they don't automatically sync with steam's cloud service.

Hilarious, hours of play time and work, gone.

Awful design.

Games cool, has a great concept and idea.. But.. No USA players, and ontop of that, my buddy and I, on a LEVEL 3 quest, were stuck for 50 minutes, because we couldn't find a single fork for him. 50 minutes and we finally just decided to call it, because the loot doesn't respawn, and when it felt like it did, it gave us the wrong items. I feel exhausted.

Interesting short story about Kelsey & her friend Marie.

Had a nice warm feel over all, an enjoyable story, involves some investigating & reading, but overall a welcome experience.

Music & art style is very life is strange esque, so maybe that's what made it so enjoyable for me, but the game is very much it's own thing.

Absolutely beautiful game, really makes you even more invested in Chloe as a character, even though it's developed by a different company.

You 100% have to get the bonus episode, no questions asked. That episode alone has the amount of feels as both games combined.

I've convinced so many people to get this game & will continue doing so.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this game, unlike anything else I've indudged myself in before.

Never had a game / story take me on such an emotional roller coaster.

The storytelling, the art, the characters, the music, all superb

I personally enjoyed this one more than the first, even with how gloomy it all felt for me, knowing what happens..
