This remake give a new perspective and a fresh coat of paint to almost every aspect of what is one of the best story driven horror games ever made. There are not enough good things to say about the results of the effort and care that went into preserving everything that made the original release a classic.

idlers that are this addicting are the best kind of idlers. would rec/10 and trying to beat it doesnt ruin your life

Loving this game so far. The platforming is direct and engaging, while not being overly punishing. The music and styling in this game complement each other very well too. All in all, it's a good time I recommend giving it a try.

Been a fan since Spelunky Classic, and the upgrades between the HD version to now Spelunky 2 are insane. Movement, visual fidelity, and generally the quality of life features are all improvements. This series is still one of the most unforgiving roguelikes out there, as your room for error as you get deeper into the game becomes much smaller. If you like platforming but don't mind learning how to accept dying until you finally get *the run*, this is the game for you.

This game is pretty engaging, and I think if you go into it with an open mind you may find something you like. Also, this game with DLSS 2.0 *chefs kiss*.
