Genuinely one of the best games of the 2010s and certainly the best narrative mystery ever made. It's very easy to become totally obsessed in learning the fate of the Obra Dinn and it's doomed crew.

The vignettes are filled with comedy and tragedy, learning the fates of the sailors and piecing their stories together is one of the most compelling experiences I've had playing a video game.

The soundtrack is equally impressive, Soldiers of the Sea A sounds as if you're watching experienced sailors tackle hardship but what you're seeing is terrified workers throwing themselves into danger to save themselves and their crew.

My only regret is that I'll never be able to go back and play this game for the first time again
