This DLC is one I can highly recommend to anyone playing. It expands on the base content and integrates into it wonderfully. It has an extra little story that's pretty solid, but the upgrades you can earn are where the real value is at. Many of them feel like they fit perfectly into the core game.

Also, in a step up from the Pale Reach, the climax of this story is far more impressive, feeling like a real finale instead of the content simply ending.

Piece of advice though. If you intend to get every single fish, the last one listed is... special. Do yourself a favor though and just look up how to get it if you want to find it. It's a little obtuse, but the real issue is that it's RNG dependent. You could be doing the right thing, and never know if if you're unlucky. It personally took me 18 attempts to get it, and i knew exactly what to do where. That being said, this isn't needed for any achievements. It's just to have your book show that you've discovered every species of fish.

Aside from that one little bit for 100% though, this DLC is top notch. I highly recommend it to any fan of the game, whether it's a first playthrough or you're wanting to play through again.

Overall a great little content pack. Though, I don't think it has enough to call it a must-have if you enjoy the base game.

It's effectively one extra region on top of the 5 of the base game. Another short story with what i consider the best atmosphere of the game. Though, I'd say the ending of the story is a bit underwhelming. It felt like it should have been something bigger, but really wasn't.

You can complete this at pretty much any point in the story. It gives some little bonuses that are useful through the main story, but far from needed. If you get both major DLCs though, I highly recommend completing this one first if only for the reward at the end. It helps cut down on one of the few issues with Iron Rig.

Overall, I recommend this DLC if you played the main game and just want a little bit more.

An excellent game about fishing and Eldritch Horror. It's incredibly atmospheric and relaxing at most times. But there's always this lingering dread over everything. I wouldn't call it horror, exactly. But it does a great job of setting creepy atmosphere. The story of various characters is simple, and you can beat the game without paying attention to it, but i's worth reading the dialogue to understand the significance of what's going on. There's some good twists and turns if you pay attention.

The DLCs only add to the experience as well. None are necessary, but the Pale Reach and Iron Rig both add a good amount of content. I highly recommend this game.

Easily one of the best games I've ever played. The art style is beautiful. The world is a perfect example of showing instead of telling, trusting the player to piece together the story. And the gameplay is the smoothest example of "Difficult but fair" that I've ever seen. There was never a single death in my entire playthrough where I thought the game had cheated me. Every time, there was a way I could have avoided it. World, gameplay, difficulty, music, art style. It knocks ever category out of the park. Can't recommend it enough.

This game really nails every category. Great gameplay loop. Smooth and tight controls. Beautiful designs. Characters full of personality. An all star performance from the voice cast. There's very little not to love about it. Only complaint I have is that if you make it too far early on, there are a few interactions referencing scenes that haven't happened yet. Other than that, it's very good about having tons of different interactions based on what you've accomplished.

A really unique puzzle game that requires a sort of programming style of thinking. Incredibly clever.

The game is far from perfect but it's a really fun cat and mouse style game with a great theme and constant new content.

If you have ever enjoyed a board game or tabletop game, this is what you should get. I love tabletop games but haven't been able to meet with anyone in person to play them for years. This more than fixed that.

I don't even want to try to count the number of runs I've done of this game. It's addicting, difficult and I am constantly discovering new things I never knew about. Even after getting every ending there are still tons of challenges and alternate ways to play the game. I cannot recommend this game enough.

An excellent game, which I have played through time and time again. It's one of few games that I have Let's Played as well. I considered it good enough to want to share it with others through video, so I highly recommend you pick it up for yourself!
