When this game first came out, I gave it a positive review, because despite it's obvious annoyances with multiplayer, I still thought they stuck true to the series in a way that made the game fun.

But now, since they've had all this time to take in valid criticisms from their community, I can no longer support this game based on the fact that Capcom not care about any suggestions whatsoever.

The biggest problem about this game is the multiplayer aspect. They never fixed any kinks. If you were thinking of getting this game to play alongside a friend/bf/gf/whatever then look far away. This game is a nightmare to play with your friends. Trust me.
It's really hard to get someone into the game and play alongside you in the story when the game not only forces you to both SEPARATELY intiate a quest and then SEPARATELY complete cutscenes of a monster in that quest before then being able to exit out of the quest, initiate the quest again, and THEN load in with your friend. It's such a pain and it makes it impossible to actually have fun with damn near anyone.
I've been a Monster Hunter fan for years. I waited for a PC release for around 6 years, and I can't even share this experience with my friends without both of us wanting to rip our hair out because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ multiplayer experience.

Second thing this game has a problem with: How are cutscenes still not skippable? It's already hard enough getting my friends to enjoy the game with me in a playthrough because of all the hoops you have to jump through to play together, but then they make it so that the cutscenes are unskippable. This only makes the experience annoying. I understand that the devs are proud of their game and want us to see the cutscenes, but if you really want us to enjoy your game, then don't force us to look at something that is honestly mediocre at best. I'm sorry. The cutscenes aren't even good enough to even warrant such forceful restrictions. Even if they were, I still don't think it's a smart decision. You already got them to buy the game. Let people enjoy your game at their own will. Trying to force people to enjoy it by shoving something in their face will just cause resentment, not admiration.
Just make the cutscenes viewable from the UI with a cutscene bank. That's it. You don't have to force people to watch them you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weirdos.

Don't waste your money, especially if you wanted to play with someone. Capcom hates multiplayer and they hate you for having friends to want to play with. For a game this price, there is no excuse.
