A story masterpiece with amazing soundtrack, ambience, unexpected plot twists, and super simple controls. All these time I wasted not having tried this game, I was foolish.

This was supposed to be the game of the decade, and yet it turned out rather disappointing. To be fair, for me who wasn't overhyped by all the trailers and demos, the game isn't that bad. The main reason for me to buy this game is to experience the incredible graphics, and it does deliver. CP2077 is among the best looking games available right now. Story is not bad, but nothing too remarkable going on here, and the 'lifepath' choices don't really do anything except changing the prologue missions, but at least there are couple of different endings to experience. Main missions are alright I guess, but the quests are pretty repetitive. The AI in this game did impress me with how dumb they are. They've fixed a lot of bugs and glitches since the game was released, but it still has a long way to go to become what it was supposed to be, a game that feels finished and well polished. Maybe wait for sale before buying this game.

Patch 1.5 update : So many things changed. Here's what I've noticed : Love the new apartments, but I wish I can play pool properly or play the oldschool arcade. Pedestrian NPCs have been improved both in diversity of models, clothing, and activity, still not perfect at time but a step in the right direction. AI traffic is also better, much less 'ghost traffic jams', people actually try to flee from conflict, etc. Water physics is improved (ripples of water when walking through it and splashes when shooting water). More poses and expressions in photomode (whistle face looks kinda goofy tho). New gun somehow didn't appear in wilson's sale(?). Clothing and weapon mods have been balanced by a lot, like a lot, the legendary mods that used to buff crit chance and crit damage have been nerfed to ground, and now clothing mods are divided into mods for head, torso, and legs. Additional rewards for completing every job from each fixers are awarded including 3 iconic weapons and 1 car.

Considering that this is a game from 2017 and was originally meant for the PS4 family, it does have impressive graphics quality. On high/ultra settings this game looks very nice, with good high-res textures, impressive lush foliage and forests, detailed effects and particles, and decent polygon modelling. Put simply, sometimes I walk slowly around parts of the map just to take a nice look around.

I'm not a big fan of RPG games, but this game has a nice balance of action and RPG elements. Combat is done nicely with plentiful choice of weapons, different armors, potions, traps, and throwables, but on the other hand a precise aim is still much required. As the result fighting both human and robot/machine enemies is hella fun and exciting. Also since this is still an RPG game, most of the side missions and quests consist of doing errands, and some of them does get a bit repetitive and boring. Main story mission is pretty nice with enough amount of variation to keep things interesting, with a good story. The DLC does add additional missions and small extra story, but for me the DLC is essentially a wilder and more challenging expansion of the game with tougher machines.

This game got a well designed sounds and music. Idk what else to say, it just sounds good especially in the cinematic cutscenes.

AFAIK, this game is almost free from bugs. Not perfect, but seeing bugs in this game is like seeing a graphics card in stock at MSRP, almost never seen. I do have experienced a bug in this game where I jumped into some building remnants and got stuck and can't get out somehow, but simply fast travelling to a campfire solved the issue.

The pricing makes sense for a game that is about 3 years old when it was released on steam, and honestly at that price you shouldn't be asking for much of a discount, since it's already pretty cheap.

So in order to play this game smoothly and with good graphics setting(high 1080p), you'd need atleast a 1070 or 2060. Not really the most demanding game on earth and it can run on lower end hardware with low settings if you will. I'd say this game would run about alright with a 1050ti.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a great action-adventure game. Continuing Lara's adventure from Rise, Shadow gives new story, different location, many puzzles and some new tricks, and all of them are presented with beautiful graphics and good audio. I just wish that the main adventure and storyline is longer, as it seems like this game got a bit carried away with side quests and challenge tombs. The survival mechanic has also been changed with the new 4 kind of herbs that I think is useful but cumbersome at times, and annoyingly it is no longer possible to get basic ammo(rifle, pistol, and shotgun ammo) by crafting. Overall it is a great game and a must play for TR fans.
