Possibly the best game for anyone looking for that Sekiro high

I went in with pretty low expectations for performance since it's an UE5 game. My PC just creeps in above recommended specs, but I'm able to get a pretty stable 60-80 FPS with upscaling and frame gen off.

Probably the best thing I've played all year after Shadow of the Erdtree. 👌

Literally Elden Ring 2 wtf

While it bunged the launch, it's absolutely worth picking up now that performance and enemy numbers are fixed.

Combat, PvP, and enemy variety aren't the strong points of this game, but the visual aesthetics, lore, level design, and exploration are excellent. LotF is similar to playing one of the old Souls games with next gen graphics.

I would go play Lies of P before LotF though if you are deciding between the two, the gameplay is much smoother and offers more of a fun challenge.

The early access shows a lot of promise for the full release.

Please don't buy it expecting Hades II level of content though, there are only 13 weapons currently in the game. There will be weekly updates adding minor new features and content according to the devs. It will start small and grow with time, but it is a long way from 1.0

That said, the combat is smooth and the game is going to be amazing once it becomes more rogue.

There are no words to describe the feeling of the most beautiful music starting to play, only to turn the corner and find out the entire street on fire with a fat clown slowly winding up a sucker punch.

Terrific level and world design, the enemy encounters and shortcuts through the level were much better placed in comparison to the soulsborne games. Bosses were less enjoyable to fight, but not bad, my main desire to beat them being getting to the next level rather than the challenge of overcoming them. Great QoL changes that make it more accessible to newcomers to the genre as well, such as having death drops spawn outside the boss door.

Good to see that the developers have spent a lot of time on their game and are still pouring effort into it. Great in voice chat with friends or randoms.
