hit me up your friend code!
I'd say most importantly, is have fun.
In short, I was copper in Black Ice, I went up to Bronze in Dust Line and I was a Silver in Skull Rain. By about the time of Skull Rain I started introducing friends to the game and we ended up playing a lot of Terrorist Hunt initally and then later onto Casual. Ranked has been something we have been playing only very occationally, and I have managed to convince my friends enough to play 3 Ranked matches. That means 7 more placements to all get ranks as a group.
We play casual seriously (because we don't play Ranked really that often, and I get far too salty at randoms), but generally speaking when we co-ordinate I find that we're at least around the skill level of Silvers when we come across them in Casual, and we can defeat Golds in game with some consistency based on what sites the Casual mode gives us. Sometimes we're unlucky and we're always defending the unviable sites...
