Mild. Game's decent, but as a sequel that deviated too far from the original I can't really recommend buying it at full price.

I liked the horror parts, but the dating part of it is gone. And it seems like the game's being watered down too, as I feel like I've spent at least half the game opening doors. Sucker for Doors: Slides to Slash For. Nice mechanic, used well, but it's just too much, I wish there was a way to just skip the entire animation manually and jump straight in a new room, without having to slide them manually.

The game also lost a bunch of weirdness, and leaned more in the straight narrative design, with a bland main character.

I'm still gonna support the developer, and I'll buy their next iteration if and when it comes out, but this game felt less fun, more busywork, and with a higher store price. YMMV.

This game is simply amazing, and has been updated with love over the years.

Definitely recommend this game. Not very long, I've done a lot of redundant stuff and completed it in less than 11 hours. Some bits, like the repair minigame, can be a bit repetitive. On the other hand the story is nice, the music is great, the exploration feels good, and the game is fun. And that's all that counts, really.

Despite its simplicity this game is pretty fun. For its very low price, it can easily give you 30 to 60 hours of non-repetitive fun, provided you like the game loop. I'm partial to it because as an italian I can understand a lot of the jokes that are spread throughout the content, and there's tons of 'em.

Already gifted this to a lot of friends, tons of fun, high recommend.

Update: after years, this game keeps pushing polished quality content with cheaply priced DLCs, and the quality keeps improving. A true labour of love!

It's actually pretty cool and the last part is quite intense. There's a lot of great comedy to be found, too.

Backed this game when it launched on Kickstarter, I've been longing for anything as good as THPS for a long time, and found most games lacking.

If you're familiar with those type of skating games, you can finish this one in 7-8 hours, collectibles including. I like the progression a lot. I wish it lasted more, but the story/level progression was good, so no harm there.

There have been a few places, mainly slightly past half of the campaign, where some missions were a bit glitchy and required several retries, I don't know if I just had particularly bad luck or if it's a bug of some sort.

The soundtrack is great, loved it.

So yeah, can be a bit frustrating in a few small sections, but overall it's absolutely cute and totally amazing. Highly recommended, glad to have backed this little gem.

I feel like I've barely scratched the surface, but this game is awesome and very polished. Vulkan support also provide really great results even on my old-ish setup, with everything to the max and high fps (120+).

If you like the genre, or just some Bond-ish fun, grab this.

A "pleasant" trip to hell, cute fun little game, short and sweet.
