Game is a joke and was designed by someone who doesn't know what words mean or how numbers work. You can have 8 hunters, 8 gatherers, 4 fisherman and it's still not enough to feed a population 50 people. At the same time, having 16 foresters among these 50 people is also not enough to produce sufficient logs and firewood. Everyone starves or freezes to death despite virtually the whole adult population working in the respective fields.
